I purchased the Danco toilet replacement handle to replace a broken flush handle, and overall I'm very pleased. Installation was straightforward and only took a few minutes with basic tools. The handle feels sturdy and operates smoothly with no sticking or excessive play. The adjustable arm made it easy to fit my toilet without much modification, and it restored the flush function perfectly. The finish also looks nice and blends well with the existing toilet hardware. The only minor drawback is that you may need to adjust the chain length or arm position a couple of times to get the flush working just right, but that's common with universal replacement handles. Overall, this is a great value for the price and a reliable replacement. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy DIY toilet repair.
I was surprised how well this worked. It is set up for every angle and is really easy to install. Getting the handle separated was the only tricky part. They have diagrams you can find online. It isn't hard—just line up the arrows. It isn't obvious either, but a quick Google will show you. Then, it is amazing how easy it was to install. After that, they make it very user-friendly and adjustable. I have installed handles before, and the slightest wrong angle can make it a nightmare quickly, This one adjusts for everything, pretty ingenious actually. I think you will be happy you picked this one.
This lever was extremely easy to install. Since it is a bit longer than the usual handle, flushing now requires less effort. The looks are a lot more in line with my home decor as well.
Was easy for someone who has never changed a flusf lever. Only took less than 15 minutes, and is easier to flush than the one that was misplaced.
I'm lol because my husband hated it , he says I'm not a plumber, so I took over had it fixed and operational in 5 minutes 🤣 I told him I'm not a plumber either but here we are with a working toilet again!!!!
I had never ordered this kind before. It is well made. It was a little difficult to get all the (what I call) 'notches' lined up. Once I put all as thought it should be, the handle was actually impossible for me to reset, so it is being successfully used with the fkushing handle up %26 not as it probably is supposed to be. It is workin so I decided I would keep it.
The replacement handle and lever seem adequate, but not overly rugged. That said, the handle and level have been working well since I installed them, and the price was very reasonable. This is the first time I have ever replaced a handle and lever, and my absolute advice is that you scan the QR code and follow the directions.
If only the directions had been provided in larger print and on a separate piece of paper, I would have rated this 5 stars.
Inside the tank, I had a hard time connecting the chain to the plastic assembly. Holes are a little bigger than Korky handle I replaced. Kept pulling the retainer clip through. American Standard toilet pin/clip users may have trouble with this. Entire handle is plastic, not metal. Works well other than that. 3 Stars because I have a temporary fix for usage and had to play in the tank because it kept pulling through.
I accidentally put the handle on upside down (my fault) and it wouldn't come back off. Had to call someone to come and cut it off. Went back and got a $3.00 handle that will probably last 20 years.
