DAP Ready-Mixed Concrete Patch 32 oz Gray Cement, Tub

I've purchased this a few times now and it never disappoints! It makes repairing older, cracked and damaged concrete very SIMPLE! It smooths out well if needed and is easy to paint once allowed to dry entirely. Also, the repairs hold up nicely for years afterwards which is definitely a plus in an older home so that a person can move onto the next project!

After doing 18 to 20 ft on the patio it seemed to go on pretty much like butter and with sweeping and using an air hose to clean out the crack went very smooth in a few passes.

Great Stuff - is a bit thin, but adding a little bit of sand helps and is concrete based. Did the job! Dried in about 2 hours at 91 degrees Fahrenheit outside, on north side of property and with no direct sun. This stuff is workable. I recommend.

Absolute great jproduct, just what I needed to fix a concrete border around a small garden.. Age has caused the border to chip and separate. This easy to use product that improved the entire garden looks in under a half hour. I just got this today and got to work right away. It is hot out there in the FLA sun and glad it was a very quick fix

So I went to paint my garage interior and realized I had an area along the concrete foundation crumbled away, with deeply chipped areas. About 2-3 feet in overall length.Researched online & watched a 10 minute video of a pro who's been repairing concrete foundations for 30 years show me how. However he does large areas and mixes his own concrete. Went to local hardware store & they recommended this product. After prepping the area & scraping away any bad crumbly foundation with wire brush, I applied this with a trowel. Luckily for me I did not read these reviews 1st cause I probably wouldn't have tried! I applied on deep areas well beyond what manufacturer recommends. It was mostly unpainted, see "before" photo. Then it occurred to me I didn't know what the drying/curing time was before repainting. Asked guys at the paint counter, they said at least 30 days is standard for concrete. Yikes, ok. So I painted garage except this area and made a note on my calendar to paint a month later. Painted a month later (with paint made to be used on concrete). it's hard as a rock and paint dried on quickly. It looks much better than if I had just painted over the crumbly concrete and I'm very happy with the outcome and the product. It was really easy for me to use not having done anything like this before. You probably should plan on letting it dry a long time. It seems to be standard practice and not a flaw in this product but user error if you attempt to paint too soon.

Served the purpose well, and it did not match color, but that is expected, would have to be sold in various hints of concrete color. Served well. Set up well.

Love this stuff! It's a big convenience for fixing the small things. Applying is as easy as frosting a cake. Works great on a cracked concrete walkway, garage floor divots, chipped garden statues, holes in steps. There will be an obvious color difference between old concrete and the new patch. Painting over the patch has helped blend the colors.

This was the first time we brought this item. We came home and within a few hours went out to use it on our cracked concrete in the driveway.....was easy to use and served the purpose we needed it for, it was a good way to fix the cracks. At least we know now what to buy and it was our first time buying it.

The product is easy enough to use , but I don't know how well it will work or for how long…I think I would have been better off with using hydraulic cement. It really is not ready-mixed cement…it is more of a caulking compound. Caulk does not usually hold up well and rarely comes close to the stated lifetime stated on the container. Therefore, I really don't recommend using it. Sorry.

Item arrived spilled inside of the box. Now I have to repackage it in order to return it even though I sent them the photo of the item.
