Cleans just about anything. You may need to wash multiple times but it cuts grease well.
Incredible! Could be the worse pot....spray, let it sit a minute and cleans up great. I would buy it over and over. I'm glad they came out with another scent...the first one is much too flowery.
This does not suds up like your regular dawn dish soap. It does work really great for spraying directly on your dishes that have nasty food sticking to it. It disolves the food and you can just wipe it away.
I love this Dawn spray. I bought 1 at Amazon for almost $23 and bought this at Walmart for more than HALF the cost. It pays to compare, and Walmart is way more competitive. Nope, not getting paid for this, its my real money-saving experience!
Over all I was pleasantly surprised! I was a bit skeptical about it when I first sprayed it on my frying pot and didn't see any of the grease coming up, but as I got into the rinsing process everything came off quick including the stuck on pieces of breading in the fryer and all the grease drippings! The pot actually came out really shiny and clean! This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
This soap doesn't do what it's advertised to do. I've had this soap for a couple of weeks now, and I've used more than half the bottle. I have to lather the dishes multiple times to get rid of the grease. So I'm using up this expensive product faster than I should. I was definitely expecting more from this. Will return to the gel soap.
Free and clear means that it's free from fragrances and clear due to lack of dyes. Change the name – you're making sensitive people sick with your misleading name.
I am yet another person who is disappointed in the claim of being "Free and Clear." I don't think Proctor & Gamble is aware that every other product I purchase on a regular basis that is Free and Clear is actually free and clear of dyes and FRAGRANCE. So either their product development team are unaware that free and clear holds the universal expectation that the product be free from dyes AND fragrance, or they have chosen to be deliberately deceitful, knowing that because it says FREE AND CLEAR in large letters, but then below says of dyes, but we have added this "light" pear scent that is still a fragrance and if you were wanting something that was actually fragrance free, we have legally covered ourselves. Is it so hard to just market it at as Dawn Powerwash Dye Free? It's so frustrating! I needed a fragrance free dish soap to clean my air fryer basket with. I bought this product online and the only part of the product that said it was scented was the picture, nothing in the title or description, but I don't purchase things based off of a picture, I read the name and description and make my decision based on the information provided. After getting it, spraying it on to begin cleaning, and then realizing it was not fragrance free, I inspected the bottle and felt duped. I did my best to rinse all of it out of the basket I was trying to clean. It smelled so strongly of "light" pear that I ended up scrubbing the thing several times with baking soda. Using boiling water to soak it several times, and dry cooking the basket in the air fryer alone for 30 minutes at a time, several times, over the course of three days before the smell finally went away. I'm aware that grease is very difficult to clean from anything! My basket needed a much deeper clean that the baking soda scrub it usually receives. Hence my desire to purchase a good soap like dawn, that is good about cutting and cleaning grease, but also knowing it needed to be fragrance free because the grease holds onto smells and I didn't want my air fryer to smell like the blue dawn I typically use. Needless to say it felt dishonest to me to have the product be labeled as free and clear. I have since found that Dawn has a liquid gel soap that claims to be Free and Clear AND unscented. I have yet to try it, as I'm wary of it's claims and keep looking at the pictures of the product trying to figure out if there is something I'm missing!
Don't list items Free and Clear when they have added scents/fragrances. It is So Misleading. I only use unscented products. So even if you think it is lightly scented it isn't for someone who is highly sensitive to fragrances.
The idea of it is great - IF you have the ability to figure out how it works. It took me quite a while to figure out how to make the spray begin, as there were no instructions that told you to grasp the very narrow outside ring of the area around the teeny tiny spray opening, and then twist it to one side - very hard to do, as it's round (if it had a squared off nozzle, it would have been way easier to figure out, and way easier to operate. My hands have minimal grasping power and I fought with it to see if turning that outer ring would indeed make it work, as THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPENING THE NOZZLE! At long last (and with the help of rubber gloves), I made it be able to spray. Once it would spray, it required several repeated squirts to get a decent amount of cleanser to come out. My hand and wrist hurt, since it took quite a bit of strength to squeeze the handle. I'll be giving it to my daughter - the idea is great but it actually hurt my hand and wrist to use. Repeated squeezing was not in the cards! IT'S NOT DESIGNED FOR ANYONE WITHOUT VERY STRONG GRIP STRENGTH!
