Great product! It was easy to install. Makes it easy to remove the dryer vent hose for cleaning. Keeps it locked in place.

it doesn't come with screws and when I did buy screws for it, my wall did not have anything for the screws to catch on to, so I used Mod Podge to seal and glue the plating to the wall. overall, it's just what I needed. I just wish the outer diameter where the screw hole is larger so the screws can catch into the wall.

Yes, this works as advertised.. Just be sure you have the same size as your vent duct. My duct work matched up perfectly. If you have the expanded aluminum duct,, be very careful not to bend the ends out of round. Doing so can cost you a severe headache trying to get the ends to match up. it still takes a little twisting and fitting to get these to mate up and stay together. Good luck and keep those vents clean, make a cleaning schedule and stick to it. Too man home fires have been caused by lint build up. Clean your lint trap/filter EVERY TIME you use your dryer. It was hard to get the plastic sleeve in the 4 inch pipe of our dryer. I had to open the pipe but after that it was smooth sailing.

Nice product, but the wall plate is only slightly larger than the hole the pipe goes though, so there is nothing to screw the screws into if the hole is not cut perfectly, or is cut for PVC duct.. They should supply a self adhesive plate that would be placed on the wall around the hole, that could be used to nail into It was very frustrating to find this out, after doing a lot of work on the plastic duck behind the wall. I'm tired of moving my dryer and washer. I'm old. :-)
