I rarely use a whole onion and these dehydrated ones are so convenient. Sometimes I rehydrate them in warm water for 5 minutes or so, but I usually use them staight out of the jar. I enjoy the taste. They don't have a strong taste but the flavor is definitely there. The jar I bought will last me several weeks and that's when i make soyos and stews. Good product with great taste.

Years ago, I wanted to make a copycat version of a McDonald's burger for my kids and bought these when I learned that's how they prep and make their onions for selected items back then. I now use these dehydrated onions in everything! Toss them into scrambled eggs, ground beef, Ramen or soak a bunch and use them on burgers, nachos, soup. They're also a great back up for fresh or frozen onions if you get in a bind and run out mid recipe.

This product is exactly what I needed and came in quickly when I ordered it. I love that I can add it to things when I'm in a pinch- which seems to happen too frequently. I just soak a little in water for a few minutes and they come back to life. Definitely recommend!

We make a quick and easy blackbeans and rice dish using Minute Rice, a can of Great Value Seasoned Black Beans and some dehydrated onions, along with spices and seasonings to taste. The onions add a nice flavor and texture to the dish. Healthy and delicious meal thats high in protein.

I was very pleased with contents of dehydrated onions, easy to use, substitute ease for recipe calling for chopped onions. I soak a small amt of onions in a bit of water and you have perfect onion for burgers, just like McDonalds. Will definately be back for another jar when contents gets low.

Much larger flacks than any brand that I have used. unfortunately it only has a wide mouth, which is good if your adding to pot of stew or soup. But not so much if you what a small amount to sprinkle on smaller items like pizza slice.

Minced onion is so handy to have on hand when you don't have fresh onions, or don't want to chop them up. They hydrate nicely, and how long shelf life, I like fresh onions. I always like to keep some on hand.

Found it to be very convenient to use, easy to measure out and very tasty addition to the dips , soups and other recipes I've used it in. Has a very long shelf life too

Not much can be said about dehydrated onions. These are nice- they smell lovely and they reconstitute beautifully. Great to have on hand when one doesn't have onions or time to cut them up.

These are ok, I like the McCormick Culinary dehydrated onions better. These are more like small onion chips and pieces rather than cut onions that are dehydrated. They don't have much flavor, but what is there is sweet not bitter.
