as long as the date is good, on the cans, they taste great! I do not eat a lot of meat in my diet, so I appreciate great tasting vegetables, raw or cooked, and for me a simple meal that is quick and easy is heat up a can of these beans and microwave a sweet potato, it's a yummy meal! if you don't like sweet potatoes then fix a microwave cup of mashed potatoes with the beans, also a good meal!
Very good, fast heating in microwave, no mess, no waste, add butter and salt, excellent. Like it as a side dish. No can taste which is great! Got tired of cooking the fresh or frozen ones, messy and time consuming. Fast delivery and nice price. Shelf life, excellent, have them right there at home. Easy peezy.
My wife love this cut of beans and not just for the holidays ! I like the size of the package and it fits nice in the pantry.
I like green beans but especially when it is "French Cut". I think warm it up is best either in the microwave or in a saute pan with a little butter or margarine. Perfect as an accompaniment to chicken or beef or by itself for a light meal.
Great price for green beans . Always has good flavor and tender.
I like French style green beans and these are best. I season them and cook for longtime with cornbread. My favorite. I cook 6 cans at time, so like the 4 pack.
This is our go to choice for canned french style green beans. We used to have no issues with using this product directly out of the can. Unfortunately, over the last few years, we have seen a strong decline in quality due to the presence of green bean stalks. Five years ago, the occasional hard green bean stalk. Three years ago, more intensive checking of every can of green beans. These days, finding stalks! in each and every can has become the normal. Even with strong inspection of these cans, we have actually missed stalks, which is probably due to the abundance of stalks. We still enjoy the product. The beans themselves are very good even though they seem to be getting more finely shredded now. They are a little too thin. Of course, it's hard to enjoy this product when you have a sharp, hardened stalk stabbing into your gums. Del Monte, for us, was very much the top quality choice. But, at this point, we are about to start looking for an alternative. Del Monte needs to do better. Thank you
some canned vegetables are ok but others like green beans just don't taste like green beans at all. That goes especially for the french style that are all sliced up and soggy.
and water in cans is increasing. i expect to get a can of green beans-- not a can that is almost 1/3 + of salty water. veggie products only need enough to cover the full can of product-- they don't need to swim. can weight is increasingly being accomplished with water instead of the advertised content to save company costs-- customers catch on and shop around for companies who still sell honest product. i use the excess liquid to add to packaged dressings or dried food products-- but i prefer to buy FOOD content-- not canned water product or soup.
This was a 4-pack of green beans. We just opened one can with an expiration date of 9/2026 and it is bad. There are no signs on the outside of being open but it has low liquid, a bad smell and rust or yuck around the inside of the can. Btw - too late for a refund. Website says refunds only for 90 days. Hmmm 🤔
