Del Monte Harvest Selects Lima Beans, Canned Vegetables, 8.5 oz Can

This is an excellent brand if you like Lima Beans. They are small and this size is great for a party of two. If you like Lima Beans you should try this brand.

I prefer frozen lima beans for their flavor and texture but they take up freezer space and they steam up the room for 15 minutes. These cans are really fast to prepare and the small size is nice for single people. Please remember to recycle your empty cans.

I love these Del Monte Harvest Selects Lima Beans. They are a good vegetable. Most kids don't know they are a vegetable. They just think they are green. My Papa Walton was a farmer. He grew lots of vegetables in his 3 seasons of growing. We had spring, summer, fall gardens. We had lots of different beans. Lima Beans were my favorite. My Mama Walton would dice and fry bacon bits and after draining the grease from them she would add them to Lima Beans along with some diced sweet onions. So good along with a slice of cornbread. Yummmy for the tummy.

These canned delmonte lima beans are getting harder to find and higher in price but are a vital ingredient in one of my family's favorite dishes. I have had to use other brands and even frozen lima beans...but my casserole does not turn out nearly as well as with the Del Monte Lima beans. When that happens I am reminded of the song "Little Things Mean A Lot". Even Walmart is usually out of them so when they are in stock I buy them. There is nothing I have found to compare to them in every respect...size, consistency, flavor, and color...and I even toyed with the idea of not writing this review for fear it will make them even harder to find~!!

This is an excellent product but why are many of the can goods that I get delivered, are dented.

Was expecting something a little diferent

MY SON DOESN'T LIKE LIMA BEANS, BUT I DO. GREAT SIZE CAN FOR ONE PERSON, BUTTER, SALT AND PEPPER AND THEY COOK IN MINUTES.

Best baby limas, butter, salt %26 pepper - that's it. I LOVE them this way. They are not dry like full sized limas.

YOU PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS ONE BIT I JUST TRIED TO ORDER MY FOOD FOR A MONTH AND GOT NOT ONE SCRAP OF FOOD YOUR SYSTEM IS GEARED TO TAKE MONEY AND DELIVER NOTHING IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN FRUSTRATED WITH YOUR HORRIBLE SYSTEM IT HAS TO BE TH WORST.......

I never received it.Fed Ex -delivered to wrong address.wasnot able to get refund. DO NOT EVER USE FED EX!!!
