DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless LED Work Light (Bare Tool)

My brother gave me 1 of these & I love it! Battery lasts forever, head tilts in various directions, I use it all the time around the house, basement, outside.

So far it's great. Have only used once!

Worked great, arrived quickly and worked as it should have.

it's Handy but if you're looking for something very bright I'd go a different route

I converted my cordless tools to the Dewalt 20v platform and this light works great.Lots of run time on a 2ah battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for roughly 6 years, I has never failed me. Albeit I don't use it a ton, When I do need it It is SUPER handy, and lights up the entire room.

I am impressed with how bright this light is, but I am very confused regarding the actual lumens of output. Looking at the specifications on the dewalt.ca website, the lumens are posted as 230, but under detailed specifications it shows 210 lumens. The dewalt.com website shows 160 and the detailed specifications shows 110. The box itself (purchased at a Canadian retailer) shows 165 lumens. The switch seems a little finicky but time will tell.

This light was great while it lasted — I bought this light on a set of other DeWalt power-tools. I'm all for the yellow and black but I was disappointed with this light because it died about 3-years after I bought it. It's bright and compact with a long battery life if you use the larger DeWalt battery packs. I'm unsure what I'll replace this light with but I'm going to reconsider buying another DeWalt light and make sure I add a protection plan. It looks like these lights have a 3-4 year lifespan based on the similar experiences mentioned in the other reviews.

The Work Light worked but the battery that came with it did not. The battery would not charge which required us to purchase a new battery. This was not only embarrassing since this was a gift but the cost of the replacement battery was more than expected. I expected more from a DeWalt tool. Not pleased at all.
