Dewalt 20v Brushless DCS382
the Dewalt DCS382, is a very well made reciprocating saw. As a bare tool, no battery is included, but it uses the same 20v batteries that your other dewalt tools use. One blade was included with the saw. I am pleased with the size and weight. Also, this is a brushless motor, which is better than some of the other models.

Dewalt Reciprocating Saw
Nice saw. Powerful. Relatively Light. Got it mostly to cut down large Areca Palms which a chain saw has had problems with due their fibrous trunk. This Dewalt reciprocating saw works great for those. Started with cutting down a fairly large and solid invasive tree in our backyard. Cut out the thick roots as well. Highly recommended. Helpful to have extra batteries and a 2nd charger when doing a lot of cutting.

Im a Dewalt fanboy. My wife wanted a saw to cut branches and vines around the property. I wanted to get her a Dewalt saw, but she thought it was too expensive. She found a cheap saw that she wanted, and I reluctantly bought it for her. The motor burned up in a couple of months. THEN I bought her the Dewalt saw. Is it a little bigger? Yes. Is it a little heavier? Yes. Is it stronger? Yes. Is it still going strong? YES! She loves it, and now she's a Dewalt fangirl.

For me, the DeWalt DCS382B shines!
As I have other 20 volt DeWalt-s, this recip saw looked right to me. I have used it. It is shorter than my older 18 volt and therefore I find it more comfortable to use. In addition, it seems easier to control the saw's speed.

DeWalt battery powered sawzall
