DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Reciprocating Saw (DCS382B) – 1-1/8 in Stroke, Variable Speed, LED Light, Tool Only

the Dewalt DCS382, is a very well made reciprocating saw. As a bare tool, no battery is included, but it uses the same 20v batteries that your other dewalt tools use. One blade was included with the saw. I am pleased with the size and weight. Also, this is a brushless motor, which is better than some of the other models.

Nice saw. Powerful. Relatively Light. Got it mostly to cut down large Areca Palms which a chain saw has had problems with due their fibrous trunk. This Dewalt reciprocating saw works great for those. Started with cutting down a fairly large and solid invasive tree in our backyard. Cut out the thick roots as well. Highly recommended. Helpful to have extra batteries and a 2nd charger when doing a lot of cutting.

Im a Dewalt fanboy. My wife wanted a saw to cut branches and vines around the property. I wanted to get her a Dewalt saw, but she thought it was too expensive. She found a cheap saw that she wanted, and I reluctantly bought it for her. The motor burned up in a couple of months. THEN I bought her the Dewalt saw. Is it a little bigger? Yes. Is it a little heavier? Yes. Is it stronger? Yes. Is it still going strong? YES! She loves it, and now she's a Dewalt fangirl.

As I have other 20 volt DeWalt-s, this recip saw looked right to me. I have used it. It is shorter than my older 18 volt and therefore I find it more comfortable to use. In addition, it seems easier to control the saw's speed.

I absolutely love this tool. It has been a great addition to family. I should have done it sooner.

Compact Dewalt brushless XR saw at a great price.

Came in generic box not the tool or brand box had a blade tossed in as well as a manual that was folded and smashed up.

Product works, It was shipped with no packing material, manual and blade thrown in the non original box. box was beat to crap. That's when i knew it was a refurbished tool. No where on the website or in the description did it say refurbished. not happy will not buy again from them

refurbished. No packaging or manual

I ordered two of these SAWS one week apart. I returned the first saw because it arrived in a Walmart box wrapped only in bubble wrap. No original DeWalt box or instruction, pamphlet or warranty card or anything. I returned this to Walmart, stating that I had ordered a new saw, not a refurbished or used saw. Upon delivery of the second saw one week later, I got the same type of delivery – no DeWalt box, just wrapped in bubble wrap. Will be returning that one also! I'm never ordering from walmart.com again!
