DeWALT Max XR Lithium-Ion 20V 5Ah Battery DCB205

Bought this to augment the 5Ah XR battery that came with my impact driver. Works like it should, and as an added bonus, is a little narrower than the XR battery that came with the driver, so it doesn't interfere with the belt hook on my other DeWalt drill.

Good quality long lasting battery. Has charged it only once to max 3 levels and so far has retained its full power capacity for months, still showing 3 levels. Highly recommended and very happy with my purchase,

Very good price for Dewalt XR batteries—even beat the price of standard (lower grade) Max. Arrived fully charged with a recent date of manufacture. Will return when some of my older batteries eventually (and inevitably) fail. :)

I own several DeWalt tools and use them on a daily basis. DeWalt batteries are not cheep , they are very pricey. I've had no issues so far with this one. It appears new, but since it is not in its original packaging, I no way of confirming it is new.

I received the battery in just a couple days. It was packaged well, and what you'd expect from DeWalt quality equipment!!

Name brand for Dewalt xr20v tools fits and works last a long time too

this dewalt charger was purchased as a spare. it mfit perfectly with the drill I already have.

I gave it four stars because the first one I bought stop charging within a year. So I was forced to buy another one.

Note that this Battery do not say XR on the battery. Doesn't come in Dewalt packaging, rather plastic wrap in a generic box... this should effect the performance though.

I received the item February 20, 2026. I charged the battery and used it one time. It did a really good job. I charged the battery again and tried to use it on March 2, 2026. Even though the charger said it was fully charged the battery was dead. I had to use a previously purchased battery to use the blower.
