Dewalt DCD805B 20V Compact Cordless 1/2" Brushless Hammer Drill (Tool Only)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DCD805 Hammer Drill/ Driver is great. Tons of power in a compact drill, the head is onlt 7" long, weights just under 3 pounds. Paired with a 5ah battery it feels very well balanced in my hand. The anti-kickback saves the wrist from twisting. Love the bright 70 lumens, adjustable, 3 setting light, really illuminates your work target area. As far as drilling, with a 4.5" hole saw it ate through 3/4 plywood with ese, no issues. So far ive only used the hammer drill function for tapcons but it goes through that concrete no problem. Im loving this drill, nice job DeWalt

The hammer drill was used in the installation of mount for a 75" TV above a fireplace. The compact size of this specific piece of equipment made holding the large mount while driving large lag screws possible. The amount of torque and the ability to run the hammer feature made driving the lags a piece of cake. The adjustable light made it easy to illuminate the target and increased visibility. As with all Dewalt products, the hammer drill is a very well built product that has all the power and performance necessary to handle all of the projects that a DYI'er and professional need,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using cordless drill/hammer drill combo on my recent jobs. It is more compact than my previous combo with just as much torque and hammer power. It has been very productive when drilling into brick and masonry in tight spaces. My favorite feature has to be the light that has the option of staying on for up to 20 minutes which makes for a perfect flashlight when installing hardware in low light conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Torque that is monstrous, powerful, and present. You must use this drill to get a feel for it if you have ever engaged in heavy drilling. Work is completed more quickly because to the drill's immediate torque. I've never had to retreat from steel, concrete, or wood. Use quality bits; failure to do so will result in the drill snapping the bits or turning them into smooth reeds. Additionally, unlike other drills I have used in the past, the drill does not heat up as you use it repeatedly. I've used a lot of non-corded drills, but this one is the strongest and so compact .the torque from this drill is more instantaneous and powers through masonry more quickly. This new Dewalt hammer drill really impresses me. This exercise has been wonderful for someone who has to move quickly. With a 5ah battery, made multiple holes in concrete. If you are not fully concentrated on the activity you are performing, this drill carries enough torque to cause injury. Only con is 3 Speed Selector sometimes sticks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great hammer drill. It doesn't quite have the same strength as the 999, but it's more than sufficient for most applications. I really like the light in the bottom, that you can adjust the angle, and leave the light on for awhile. It's almost like having another flashlight on site. It's also nice to have a drill handy with a chuck, gives more versatility for different drill bits. Overall, great drill!

Great drill, heavy duty for a great price

Product arrived from the seller from USPS later than promised date, with minimal bubble wrap surrounding it in a cheap plastic shipping bag, not even in a manufacturer's box, leading me to feel like it is potentially a knock-off item. Returning it to the store and won't be opening the bag until I'm there to show them the product I received.

This is a counterfeit drill as you can see in the photos the LED light is not articulating. That is one of the telltale signs of a counterfeit dcd805.
