I’ve always owned Dirt Devil vacuums, and this is the newer model of the one I had for over 12 years. Let me tell you—it’s incredibly lightweight. I no longer procrastinate on cleaning the floors because cleaning is now a breeze. I can finish the entire house in a very short amount of time. I don’t even have to push the vacuum anymore; it practically moves itself and picks up even the smallest grains of sand or dirt. It’s so light and easy to use that even a 6-year-old could help with cleaning. Another feature I really appreciate is how simple it is to clean and take apart—there are far fewer parts to remove compared to my old model. I truly love this vacuum cleaner and would happily recommend it to anyone.
Great for thick carpets. The amount of dirt it was able to pick up was scary in an impressive way. However mine did not come with a brush accessory as in picture.
it is affordable and light weight, i can carry it down stairs, it's easy on my back especially because i have rod's in my neck and suffer with lower back pain, I'm not suppose to lift anything over 10 pounds so when i found this 9 pound vacuum i felt it would be perfect, and guess what i thought right. i have no regrets buying this and the brand is what i like and the price was so worth it for this brand.
i have fibromyalgia and alot of vacuums once put together are heavy as heck. this one says its light weight and it actually is. so i even tested out the rotation of the vacuum which they said a 5 year old could use the machine. so i used my bffs 5yr old daughter who loves to help aunty clean.and she did a pretty excellent job i might say so myself.
My review is based on how well the vacuum cleans. It does have a really powerful suction. I also noticed the difference in the type of dirt it picks up. I didn't realize that my previous vacuums only picked up fine dust/dirt particles until I emptied the dirt/dust from the Dirt Devil. The dirt/dust it picked up was both large and small particles! I vacuumed my carpets once and thought it really picked up a lot to the point I had to empty it after each room. Then I decided to clean the carpets. After the carpets dried, I vacuumed a second time and still picked up a lot of dirt. I feel much better knowing my house is clean! The cord is very long, which is a great feature. Worked well on both my hard floors and area rugs. Much better than the Bissel floor expert I had, which the motor burned out after 13 years. The Bissel canister floor expert never worked that well to begin with. Improvements needed/cons: It's not that light, which can be considered well built. The wand and the crevice tool are very loose and fall out of the hose, so you need to hold them in the hose to use them. There is no clip to keep the cord up high, so you have to either hold the cord or put it through the handle. (This can be a tripping hazard.) You cannot adjust the height of the vacuum.
Perfect for my Senior apt.. I’ve tried those battery powered vacs, However , i needed more suction power to deep clean. Price wise, compared to others I saved a few bucks (for equivalent performance).
I had a Bissell which unfortunately decided to die after only three years. So I went looking for a budget minded basic vacuum to replace it. After looking at several models this one seemed to fit my needs. What I liked immediately is that the footprint is much smaller than the Bissell, making it easier maneuver around my small apartment. It is also surprisingly powerful, and seems to be better constructed than the Bissell. The downside to this Dirt Devil is that you can't adjust for different carpet heights, it is very loud, and it doesn't have a brush attachment for the hose. Confusingly the power, and upright vertical release are the same. Oddly enough I managed to adapt some of the Bissell accessories such as the brush and the hose extension.
I wanted to buy the dirt devil power Express which I previously owned but as always you did not have any in stock so I was forced to buy this one out of desperation the tool it's not even a crevice tool there's no brush the extension one doesn't stay into the hose even if you twist and hit it there's no brush for the tools and the tools that I had from my old power Express didn't even fit with this one the only difference is the motor and the size of the dirt cup I don't recommend buying this I recommend the power Express I recommend you guys put it back in stock
This vacum is very loud. It squeeks when moving over carpet. The hose is short. It only comes with one hose extender and doesn't reach the top of walls for cleaning cobwebs etc. This comes with only a single attachment. A crevice tool. Overall a waste your money or time returning it as I plan to do. Sorry but just keeping it real.
it worked good for 27 days and it was over stopped sucking i was 2 days from 30 days of having it and could not exchange or get my money back i went to an old friemd house he had same one and was tore up it wss new too ..I would not buy poor quality but walmaert should have thr 90 dsys like everuthing else
