Ships flat, minimal instructions to assemble and may take a bit of brute force. Metal is light gauge. Overall a good design. Used with .177 and .22 air pistols; you will dent the back pretty quickly, but the pellets do get trapped to some degree in the unit. The spinners are great fun, but are pretty lightweight; when hit with .22 pellets from a CO2 gun, they twist sideways. As more hits are made, the spinners have a tendency to drop off. Easy to put targets on a piece of cardboard to switch to bullseye shooting, not much of a tendency for ricochets. For the price, it's a great unit. Be careful of using a magnum gun or high velocity pellet rifle unless you stake the trap down, and give it a good 20 yards. You could really tear this trap up if you use a big gun at close range.

I purchased this trap with the intent of modifying it to make it quiet. The metal is rather thin and would likely not stand up well to repeated hits from a full power air rifle. I lined the sloped back panel with duct seal putty to absorb pellet hits and deaden noise. As modified the trap works very well, is quiet and there is no pellet noise or bounce backs from the trap.

Please note that this unit is not to be used with BB's. Nothing in the description indicates such, but the instructions when you receive the unit (which is not like the picture) tell that it is for pellets only.

I bought for my son for his birthday. It came on time. It's pretty small but I think it will work fine. It's very sturdy and was easy to build. However, I'm very saddened that the orange hanging targets that came with it do not have the target stickers or any target markings as in the pictures. This defeats the purpose of the hanging targets as there's nothing to aim at except an orange circle. If it was as pictured, it would definitely be 5 stars even with the small size, because it's so sturdy. We haven't used it yet because it's not his birthday yet but once we try it out I'll update the review on how it is with containing pellets and holding paper/cardboard targets. I'll also add some pictures.
