these are the perfect size and shape for my birds. they prefer these over the other brands. i prefer them as well bc they don't decentigrate when it rains like crumbles do and they aren't too big like the pellets have been. Dr Pol is an excellent vet and his products i feel like i can trust to be good for my critters more-so then the common brands. Considering some brands have caused hens to stop laying then I consider it worth the little extra for the peace of mind only Dr Pol can provide. I'd recommend the chicken feed and the dog food too. my dog prefers dr. pols dog food over all others.

As a fairly new chicken mama, I've been trying to find a decent feed for my babies. As soon as I opened the bag, it had a savory smell and the pellets were the perfect size for my chickens. I've never seen them so excited about their feed! This will be an autoship for sure.

This food is good the chickens eat it all up. The negative reviews on this product all seem to be from people who simply had chickens that were picky on what they eat . I like the pearl shape cause we can throw some on the ground unlike the normal crumbles. Seems to be a better qauilty food than what we normally get from the feed store . The only real down side is that it's only 30 pounds whereas other crumble is 40 pounds for a similar price but I don't see other brands having the pearl shape.

They love it, and they have been laying eggs daily without cracking them. This food satisfies my chickens, glad I did t listen to the reviews!❤️

my birds have been healthier since I started using this product. I have some older birds and they love this food. I believe my birds are healthier because I use this food.

My hens like the feed, they healthy and lay well. My only complaint is that the price doubled, so I will no longer be purchasing through Walmart as long as it's priced insane . Chicken feed is cheap and they take advantage of more and more people having backyard chickens. You can get a better deal at Chewy.

My hens won't eat it. l left it for a couple days thinking ifthey were hungry enough they would eat it, but no.

l bought this product for the feral hen I feed. She will not eat it. So I threw some out for the wild birds that I feed. They will not eat it either. So not sure what to do with the bag of food now.

our chickens normally eat crumbles and wild foraging. they looked but wouldn't touch this feed. after several day's i threw it out. it seems we have picky chickens, and they definitely won't eat this.
