I really like Dr. Teal's Eucalyptus and Spearmint deodorant. The smell is fresh and clean without being too strong. It lasts a good while throughout the day, and I don't have to reapply often. Overall, it's simple, effective, and smells great. Would definitely recommend!!
I was able to receive Dr teals deodorant for free in exchange for my honest review. I tried this deodorant for a few weeks now. My skin is semi sensitive, I have NOT broke out, been itchy, or turned red. I have tried arm and hammer and other deodorant brands that have left me sticky, broke out, or just didn't work. This brand feels like I'm not wearing any deodorant. It's smooth, clear, no residue left or anything. Best part is, the smell lasts all day! I will definitely be buying this brand for my family!! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dr Teal's Eucalyptus Aluminum Free Deodorant (2.5 oz) is honestly one of the best natural deodorants I've tried. The eucalyptus scent is clean, fresh, and spa-like without being overpowering—it actually makes getting ready feel a little more refreshing. What really impressed me is how well it works for an aluminum-free formula. It keeps odor under control throughout the day, even during busy or active moments, which isn't always the case with natural options. The texture is smooth and applies easily without feeling sticky or leaving a heavy residue. I also love that it's made with more natural ingredients and doesn't irritate sensitive skin. No harsh chemicals, no overwhelming fragrance—just a simple, effective deodorant that does its job. If you're looking to switch to aluminum-free but don't want to sacrifice performance or scent, this is definitely worth trying.
I was skeptical about trying this… because several years ago I tried native, and it left me with a vicious red rash. Anyway.. this product has worked amazingly for me! It smells so good, and it keeps me dry and clean. I will continue to purchase this item. I love that it has magnesium in it.
Overall, this is a great deodorant! It smells great, and it feels great on my skin too. There isn't any leftover residue after applying which I really appreciate. It certainly lasts all day and lives up to all the brands claims. I love that it is a more natural product and would definitely buy it again.
This deodorant smells amazing. Everyone in my house loves the scent. It goes on easily and doesn't stain clothes either. Initial smell is great but it doesn't fully mask the body odor when "put to the test". If you're not one to have body odor and just want something to smell good or mask light stink, this is amazing. If you have a moderate to strong body odor then I wouldn't recommend this unless you're not going to be sweating as you'll likely still find that you get smelly.
I have been using Dr. Teal's deodorant for about two weeks now. I have been using aluminum free deodorant for about 8 years now. I have tried many different brands. I gave it two weeks to see how long it would hold up. I find sometimes that a deodorant will only be effective for me for a short while before my body adjusts to it. So far, that has not happened. Some days it does appear to work better than others for me, but most days, I find that it works the entire day. This is the first aluminum free deodorant that I have found reapplied really well, and actually helps with a reapplication. I received this as a free trial, and if I had one complaint, it would be the scent that I received. The eucalyptus & spearmint is probably not one I would have sent to a female. My husband smelled it, and said it smells like Old Spice. It isn't a bad smell, just probably one that men would appreciate more than women. This deodorant rolls on nicely. The first use was a bit stiff, and each day I use it, I let it sit for a second on my underarm to warm up, just a bit. It hasn't left any stains on clothing, and does not chunk up like some deodorants do. I checked the price, and compared to other aluminum free deodorants, this seems very reasonable. Even though I received it as a free trial, it is something I know I will purchase again, just in a different scent.
I've tried quite a few aluminum-free deodorants, and after hearing so many great things about Dr Teal's, I was excited to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was that the packaging wasn't the easiest to use—the turn dial at the bottom was pretty stiff and made it a little difficult to get the product up. As for the deodorant itself, the scent is honestly amazing. It's a clean, fresh eucalyptus smell that feels very unisex and not overpowering. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. The formula felt slightly sticky on application, and more importantly, it just didn't hold up in terms of odor protection. I tested it consistently for a full week, and I found myself needing to wash it off daily and switch to a prescription-strength deodorant because it simply wasn't effective. This might work well for someone who doesn't struggle much with sweat or odor, but for me, it just didn't do the job.
Others had recommended this brand when switching to natural-based deodorants, but I had a rash/skin reaction after applying it only twice. My armpits so irritated/painful to the point I had to apply Aloe Vera Gel and Petroleum Jelly. Reaction aside, the scent was also extremely strong and I did not feel dry after applying it, so ultimately I chose to throw it away. Based on other recent reviews, it sounds like they changed the formula and now it's worse. What a shame.
They completed changed the ingredients from the old deodorant stick and changed the number one ingredient while adding hexamethylindanopyran and benzoyl salicylate which are both potential endocrine disruptors. The stick size dropped to 2.5 oz from 2.65 as well. This was my go to and now I'm going to stay away from it. I'm really disappointed in Dr Teals.
