Great for small projects. First timers loved this.
very easy to use, overall good drill for around the house 😁
compact and useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is surprising to me that no one had come up with this earlier. Pretty much everything you need to make typical day-to-day household repairs in one convenient package! Hanging things on the wall are a breeze with this! Determine the locations of studs with the integral stud finder, mark your spot, put a drill bit in the tool holder and drill your hole, install your anchor, and hang your item. Oh? It needs more than one anchor? Snap the laser lever out of the handle, align it with your first hole, use the integrated spirit levels to make sure everything is true, then turn on the laser to find where to make your mark. If you're really good at setting up for these tasks, you can have the bits you need already snapped into the bit holders on the handle! As you would expect, the drill/driver has a clutch that lets you set the amount of torque for the screws, or set to full torque to drill holes. I really like this tool! It fits well in my hand, and the accessories - stud finder, laser level, bit holders - make it the perfect tool for the tasks that pop up around the house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this handy drill level and stud finder duo. It's the perfect tool for hanging pictures. And it's light enough for me to handle myself. I appreciate the gift and a chance to review this item. My husband has already tried to borrow it for himself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dremel Blueprint Multi-Drill is a 12 volt Multi-Drill with multiple settings for drilling and screw driving in size from 1 to 21. These are selected by turning a rotary know at the front of the drill. Upon pressing the trigger/start button, 2 LED lights shed light where the drill is pointed. Both speed and strength are very good for most if not all YID and homeowner tasks and quite possibly in the professional work setting as well. Plenty of torque and speed for both. Battery level indicator keeps you posted on when it is time to recharge with the included charger. The ergonomic shape fits the hand well, either right or left. Weighing in at 2lb 3oz including battery and laser level module(with integrated bubble level), the Multi-Drill, is not too heavy for a tool of this caliber and function. The integrated laser works flawlessly and is simple and user-friendly to use. Integrated colored lights guide you to a stud. The laser module is fairly simple to calibrate and use with included instructions. It stores in the Multi-Drill when not in use. Included with the Multi-drill are: • 12 volt battery charger • Laser module charging USB cable • 3 size dill bits • Assortment of driver bits • Operating Manual for both Multi-drill and Battery charger • Quick start guide Overall, a quality made tool that incorporates many functions used in the home or at the job site.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 81 year old and this Blueprint product is awesome! It is so lightweight and yet so powerful and versatile. The stud finder and 3in1 drill are so easy to charge, easy to hold when working with it and the compactness of being able to have everything in 1 unit makes this a dream tool. It easily puts screws into the strongest wood and changing bits is a dream. If you remember the days when you needed a chuck to tighten bits, not the case with this Blueprint drill. The leveler is accurate as is the stud finder. Best part is it's all in one lightweight unit. Wish I had this 40 years ago. I am located in Pensacola, Florida where I get to work on projects year round. The quality of the build on this Blueprint unit is exceptional and I would rate this a 10 out of 10. Please don't hesitate to purchase this product because as with the Dremel products it is built solid and well worth the investment because it will last a lifetime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When your wife wants you to hang 4 pictures on the wall and now I have the tool in my hand that not only can find the studs but a laser level to make them straight abd the kicker, a drill to screw them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dremel blueprint multi-drill tool has an excellent assortment of functions. Yet it is still simple to use and works great. It has a comprehensive booklet for the operating and safety instructions which is printed in three languages. The Dremel blueprint multi-drill tool includes a useful selection of 9 driver bits and 3 drill bits. The brushless design is also nice because it eliminates the need to buy and replace the brushes every once in a while. I recently moved to a new house and still have not hung up most of my pictures. Yesterday I used my Dremel blueprint multi-drill to hang 10 pictures around my house. I used the built-in stud finder for all 10 pictures. It was a big help. The stud finder was accurate and very easy to use. I also used the detachable laser level for 8 of the pictures. It was a tremendous help. The laser level secures to the wall with reusable mounting putty. This allowed me to easily align my pictures with other existing pictures and my television. Then I took the blueprint multi-drill outside to my shed. I used it to remove 48 sheet rock screws and zinc washers and installed 48 new exterior rated screws with galvanized washers. During both of these tasks I found that the Dremel blueprint multi-drill tool had plenty of torque and it provided comfortable and accurate extended use. The lithium battery operation allows it to be taken anywhere quickly without having to setup an extension cord. The Dremel blueprint multi-drill lithium battery lasted for both projects and still had 2 out of 3 bars of power remaining. The Dremel blueprint multi-drill tool is excellent and I highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made of good quality material. First, on a side note, there was no plastic in the packaging of the drill. To me, that means the company is doing its part for the environment. Although I didn't do any grinding with the drill, I did however: Take the Dremel Blueprint 3-in-1 Drill to work to test it out. I build PLC panels and drill holes in steel as well as screw in screws. I tested the drill on one hole and decided that it was best not to continue. It took a while, I don't think the drill was fast enough. Either way, it took a while, and I figured it would go through the battery quickly. I decided it wasn't meant to drill through steel. On the drive aspect, it did great. The screws went in effortlessly. I used a longer bit than what it came with, and it was nice that I could do that, and it wasn't prioritized to the bits that came with it. At home the drill worked well in drywall, wood and thin metal. I hung a picture on the wall using the laser level and drill as well as the stud finder. It was easy to use and looked level when I was done and found the stud with no issues. I was surprised when I saw it came with some bits, so that was nice. The light it has on it is a great feature, I have trouble with shadows always making it hard to see when doing work so the fact that it had a light made it, so I didn't have to use my flashlight. I felt it was easy to handle and move around. The handle had a soft like grip. You can store the level in the drill, and the stud finder was part of the drill. It was nice to have them all right there if needed. You can also store a couple bits on the drill, which not all drills have that. I can see getting another battery to have when the other one runs out, and I will get some sort of case or pouch to store it in. My wife also liked it, she liked the design and thought it was easy to use. It's a nice compact drill to have around the house for those quick tasks.
