Dual Electronics XDCPA9BT - 7" Double Din in-Dash Car Stereo with Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Bluetooth

I received my Dual Media Receiver from the Spark Reviewer Program. This 7" in-dash, digital media receiver features Apple car play, Android Auto and Bluetooth. Please note this receiver does not come with a cd player but does play AM/FM radio. You are able to use voice commands to make phone calls, send texts, and even pause your music. This receiver has the capability to read a text to you then gives you the option to reply. When a phone call comes in you have the option to accept or decline on the LCD screen. Another great feature is being able to use Apple Maps without picking up your phone. (iPhone users). For Android phones, it would be Google maps. This receiver automatically adjusts to "dark mode" when you are using your headlights. If you have daytime running lights the receiver will stay in "light mode". If you prefer, you can set up the receiver to stay in "light" or "dark" mode. There are so many neat features to this Dual Receiver, although I'm sure I'm leaving a few out. I recently got this Dual Electronics XDCPA9BT - 7 Double DIN In-Dash Car Stereo with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Bluetooth. I had it professionally installed and I am really excited about it. I have an older vehicle, so I was glad to add this to my car. I have an android phone, so I am glad that this works with it. I can make and return calls and listen to and return my voicemails and texts. I love the touch screen technology. When I play my music it dispays the artist right on my screen. It also has bluetooth technology that lets me pair it with my phone and tablet. Many communities in my area require hands free use of your phone, so this lets me comply with those laws. Looking at some of the reviews, I feel that people are having problems with theirs because they installed it wrong or got some of the wiring wrong. I noticed that people who had it installed for them had no issues, so I had mine installed for me, and I am glad that I did. I love the turn by turn directions it gives me too. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

I am surprised how gods this it is. Bad thing? USB is on the back, extension is too short. Does it work? one word... AMAZING. For the price and features Walmart brand been doing fantastic! I have a dual on all my 3 cars (different models and always works great for a 40% less than brand name) and AMP that also works amazing.

Beyond pleased with this system! It is absolutely gorgeous and works perfectly. It is extremely user friendly and has a crystal clear picture/screen. Bluetooth works splendidly and is a total game changer. Love having GPS in the dash now too. Total install time was about 3 hours for someone who is highly advanced in automotive skills, so maybe keep that in mind but we absolutely LOVE it!!

This radio is nice. I got it to replace the stock radio in my wrangler. I love that it has Apple car play and android play. It was fairly easy to install with some extra parts. I would recommend this radio.

Got this professionally installed in my 2008 dodge ram pickup truck the first day I received it. It fits perfectly and looks really nice. Comes with everything needed for an easy install, I think I could have done the installation myself. This is the first touchscreen car stereo receiver that I have owned and I must say, I am truly impressed. There is so much you can do with this. I have spent hours playing around the first day it was put in my vehicle. The display is nice and organized with a touchscreen just as easy to use as a tablet or smartphone. Its much better using gps from this than your cell. You can also use this system to read and send text messages along with making and receiving phone calls. All hands free and clear as can be. My son has an IPhone so everytime he gets in he's playing music off his phone using the apple carplay. My samsung galaxy phone plays the music via bluetooth and it comes with a wireless steering wheel remote that I have installed. Very satisfied and highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their car media receiver.

I purchased the install kit for my truck and wired the radio at my kitchen table. I popped off the dash panel on my pick-up and removed my old radio, attached the perspective wires and inserted the new radio. The new one works well and easily connected to my phone. The 7 inch display screen is big and easy to read. I am very pleased with my new radio in functionality and appearance.

I absolutely love this product. I bought it for my boyfriends vehicle and I love it. The installation didnt take long and its works perfect. I love the remote control that you can attached on the steering wheel because I cant just push the button without even looking. The screen is so big and it is very user friendly. I recommend this product because the price is worth it!

Pro: - Best solution for old cars, new cars nowadays already have everything included - Has Microphone, USB connector included - Has Rear View Camera option (Camera not included but you can get one for few bucks) - 7 “ touchscreen with Bluetooth capability, compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto Cons: - Comes with just a Quick Start Guide paper where there's only a wiring diagram and how to use the Media Receiver(bare minimum), so either you have to ask a mechanic (who will probably do as below) or do like me, I had to: * Search on YouTube how to remove my old car stereo (which is understandable because car designs change depending on brands and year model) * Buy an aftermarket stereo car wiring harness cable adapter if it doesn't match with this Media Receiver * Guess by elimination the cable diagram (connect obvious cables first then guess the remaining) but they seem easy to guess - Trim Plate doesn't fit some cars, at least not my 2004 Honda Civic, you might have to customize it a little bit or buy a dash kit - Many cars don't have USB socket so you might have to customize it also or buy a car dash socket. I wish it comes with a socket - In case the remote control is lost or not working anymore, I noticed that the buttons on the side of the screen are not convenient and can be easily confused with each other, especially when you need to mute in a hurry and you end up pressing volume up - Android Auto must be connected via USB and not via Bluetooth - Remote Control must use IR cable instead of using Bluetooth, and the IR cable must be well located otherwise remote won't work - Remote Control can only be attached to the wheel which isn't convenient when turning the wheel
