I have trusted the Dual brand for over 17 years! I am very satisfied with this Navigation radio. No, it does not speak the street names, but for the price and the functionality, you can't beat it! This will now be my go to aftermarket radio when I purchase older cars that do not have a touchscreen or navigation. Thanks Dual for making another GREAT PRODUCT!
I am very pleased with this radio, I actually bought it as a replacement for the dual electronics dvd radio when it broke. Its compatible with the dual electronics back up camera I had previously installed. The GPS is very helpful and it works in tandem with your audio the only thing I dislike is how long it takes for the GPS to find a signal which usually takes a few minutes, but once it does navigation is seamless.
Take the 1-star reviews with a grain of salt. Many of them still don't know that the cassette is no longer available. What I have noticed about the low reviews is that the person never mentions what they did to make the radio not function. I would like to hear this more then just the radio stopped working. This means nothing to anyone. Why did it stop working? What did YOU do to the radio to make it stop working? Are you actually smart enough to own work the radio? My guess is , NO.
if you are buying this for the navigation feature, it is very very disappointing. signal strength is weak and it lacks in details and street names. if you're buying it for a Bluetooth touch screen then it's not so bad
been using this unit for a few months now. Bluetooth fades in and out, navigation reminds me of a first Gen garmin, decides not to power on when my truck is fired up. The sound is good though. If I were to suggest a stereo to someone this brand wouldn't be it. spend the extra money on a pioneer or something else
i installed the stereo and it was fine except that when clicking the next track button the stereo lags real back and after i had it in for a few days it froze up and i had to pull it out of the dash and unplug then replug in the harness then set all the settings again sucks.the other issue i have is when playing songs through usb flash drive fat32 mp3 or flac type files ( i tried both)the song title reads no support and when i tried to reach out to dual electronics they emailed me back and asked if the flash drive was fat32 i replyed that it was fat32 flac music only files and nothing for a few days then i emailed them again and still nothing.the other dual stereo i got was a single din and i played music with flash drive with it and the only issue is that if i would turn truck off with Fdrive in stereo it the stereo would not turn back on so i had to unplug and replug in the harness but no other issue and the nav stereo cost around 99 dollars and the single din only cost 25 and some coins.
I found this radio disappointing and ended up returning it. FM works fine and all of the controls are simple, intuitive and responsive. However, the features it does have are as basic as you can get. Almost no customization settings. Bluetooth works ok, but when playing music it only says "bluetooth connected" in place of song and artist. No SD slot only USB. GPS is basic too. Only has basic iGO and not sure if its upgradable. Doesn't play video. Doesnt have phone-link. No subwoofer control. Build quality is ok. But for the same money or a little more you can get so many more features getting an android radio elsewhere. I like that it has hard buttons for the controls. Thats what convinced me to buy it in the first place. But it lacks a lot of features.
its freezing up, and after i recalibrated the touch screen it still isn't accurate, its way off. stay away from this unit, it will drive you crazy.
This product sucks! They are also refusing to give me a refund..
It was easy to install and was good sound but the radio burnt out in less than a month while going down road, checked no fuses blown and tried wiring straight from battery and still wouldnt come on. Dont waste your money on this thing I will not buy another dual product that is two of them in one year
