what i needed

beachbum April 11, 2020

I live in a 120 year old house and live in apt up stairs. I have two window ac unitits. this works perfect. easy to cut and fits nicely. did not have to use tape or anything. left over cut put under the unit between unit and window. block those drafts.

easy to install

robs June 3, 2016

The directions said to replace what I already had, but since I'm renting the apt. I left the original thin panels "as is" and merely placed these panels over the top. Easy peasy and it worked to reduce both noise and drafts. Would buy again.

Works great!!

I am so glad I ordered this with the room air conditioner because what came with it was not long enough to fill the space on each side in the window. Very good product!

We use on the inside of our house. This product not only cut the air coming in but reduced the noise.

Easy solution for keeping heat and bugs outside!

Cmiller415 June 24, 2020

The side panels on my window air conditioner were starting to come apart so I started looking for something to replace them without having to buy new plastic side panels and I came acoss these. They worked really well. I was able to use them all summer without them falling apart or getting hard and crumbly. They fit between the air conditioner and the wall without having to cut them and they kept the heat and bugs outside where they belong. I would definitely reccomend them.

Great product

Just what we needed for our oversized windows! Hard to find an AC that fits our window! This helped so much! I bought 2!

I like these

jj14905 July 2, 2021

These are great! Not only do they keep the gaps around the air conditioner sealed, but they also block the light. They are kind of expensive for just foam, but they do the trick.

Product works well but was sent only 1 foam panel

Tom June 14, 2021

Ordered this to help insulate my grandparents window AC but was sent only one sheet of foam when the listing stated 2 foams and 2 brackets. Customer service was nice enough to help refund the order but I had to find a local hardware store to get another sheet of this foam and the brackets because replacement shipping would have taken too ling and no Walmart stores near me had them in stock. I found a pack at a few dollars more and was able to easily cut he foam to size. you only get 2 brackets but you can cut them in half to use for the 2 sides. Don't think they can serve as replacement side walls but makes a great way to provide extra installation on top of the side panels already there.

Not a good fit

tfindley July 6, 2015

These do not compare to the side panels you will get with your a/c unit. They do not have the same measurements i.e. not wide enough. The adhesive panels that you get with the product also do not stick to the unit or window hardly at all. I kept the panels on the unit and put these on the outside as extra insulation. I will tape over them for added insulation and bug protection.
