it's water proof.
I got this because it was supposed to fit my 13000 watt generator but it is about 1 inch to small.

it is not an all weather cover
it is flimsy and is not a outdoor weather resistant cover. It is great for covering the generator when it is being stored inside and will keep dust off. This is a very thin plastic cover. It is overpriced and misrepresented as an all weathr cover. The first rain the seams will leak and blow off the generator.

Does not hold back water
After installing the generator, I put on Weather resistant cover and it rained that night. Came back in the morning to find that the water had seep through the cover and was sitting in puddles on top of the generator. I'm planning To buy a third-party cover
