Pulsar 12,000W Dual Fuel Portable Generator in Space Gray with Electric Start, G12KBN

I ordered this generator a week ago and it is already delivered. It was recieved in optimal condition and packaging no tears no dents not crushed . RL carriers done a wonderful job taking care of my product and communicating with me . I would have to say that I am extremely pleased with the build of the generator it is very sturdy built well and easy to assemble. The instructions are spot on easy to read and I was able to put it together in 5 min . I live in a hurricane prone area and we are without power sometimes I bought this in case of storms and random power outages . I can not rate it on ease of use do to not needing it at the moment. I will say the thing I was disappointed in is that I have to go buy oil for it the manufacturer does not include oil for the first use. over all I am giving it a 5 star review because of the exceptional delivery time build of generator and exceptional customer service .

I have tested it on the 5th wheel camper and it ran everything perfectly. It has run for six hours and had it's first oil change. The real test will come next week when we head to Colorado where we will be boondocking for a full week.

Everything perfect. Have not fired up yet but just picked up gas and propane tanks. Also oil for generator motor. Great pack job for shipping, 110%. Freight company contacted me about 2 day delivery delay cuz i live in mountains with switchbacks so they had to transfer to box truck. Perfect communication and friendly. Already 2 friends are ordering.! Wheels and handle tote bars included, most i compared to they charge extra.

Nice well built unit, definitely a little bit on the noisy side, but for the price I can live with that.

It's definitely a two person job putting this heavy beast together, 230lbs dry weight is nothing to laugh at.

The shipping on this generator was quick and we received it in 3 days. It was easy to assemble and the packing was very good, there was no damage at all. I set it up in an outside shed so that it is wired and ready to be in service within minutes. The generator starts easily and runs smoothly, I haven't had to run it any length of time but I expect to give us long service.

The pull cord just broke. Walked up to generator and the handle was on the ground. It appears that just sitting and running caused the pull cord to break. I have never even used the pullcord. I always used the electric start. It would be great to have the pullcord for backup if battery is low.

Pulsar 12000W Dual Fuel Portable Generator review: 5/31/2025. I purchased this generator for emergency backup power due to the failure of a generator I've had for 7 years. This generator has enough power to operate everything in my house except the HVAC system. I particularly like the dual fuel capability and plan to use propane fuel along with the standard 20 pound tanks that can easily be exchanged or refilled as needed. It does weigh approximately 250 pounds but is easy to move around with the included wheels. It will require protection from the weather while in use and or for storage. The cost is very good for a generator of this size. I have only had this unit for 1 month at this time and have only run it long enough to check out the operation so I can't provide long term quality. Noise level during operation is pretty quite, from 40 to 50 feet away it is comparable to a small lawnmower running and not really even noticeable while inside the house.

its a nice generator but it says in the owners manual it comes with a charger to keep the battery charged but it wasnt in the box
