this is my second purchase of this heater. excellent back up source of heat for when power goes put. i keep in my room that does not have a heat source and its very effective. I've had it for years. very happy with it
I have older versions of this heater, this one is still simple, easy to use, safer than the others, and still uses less fuel per amount of heat per hour.....Great Product.
Great product, heats wonderfully
loved the size, the color and its not really that heavy. was the perfect heater for me.
use to Kerosene fluid to fast
Great little heater. Puts out the heat. Back and sides stay cool. Heats out of the front. Doesn't seem to be a fuel hog. Just remember to dry burn the wick occasionally. Only draw back, use caution here, so much heat out of the front the floor could actually catch fire. First time we used it the floor tile bubbled up and was to hot to touch. Very scary for a minute till it cooled down once heater was shut off. Didn't use it again untill I bought a floor pad for use under wood burners. Since then pad gets warm but floor stays cool.
Open the box and the kerosene heater was dented. I wanna have kerosene not thinking about it. How else would you know if the emergency switch wouldn't work well went to go try to turn it off. The emergency switch doesn't work. Call Walmart to ask them what we could do about it. they said well since you already put kerosene in there's nothing we could do about it And I was like well. How else do you think I would've known if it worked or not if you didn't put the kerosene what a waste of $152.
When I first got the heater it was ok and working fine.. out of no where the heater stop working I took it back to Walmart in lake city and I had a hard time trying to get something done.. they want give me my money back or nothing. We might just need to stop shopping at Walmart all together since it so hard to get your money back 152.00 I can't get back.. then Helen got loud with me I had to let her know who to play with cause I was not the one.. this happen in lake city Walmart
I was so excited to get this. When we received it, we filled it and turned the knob to ignite it and the wick was so low it couldn't stay lit. We replaced the wick and it worked for 1 day. When we went to ignite it again the wick was stuck in the off position. I am going to try and get my money back. By the way they didn't put the instructions in the box so that made it even harder. All together a horrible experience and product.
Received the heater The safety shut off did not work. Manufacturer sent me a replacement part and the cover button feel off when I went to replace the part so I do not have a safe useable unit. I have another one same brand same type that works well but very disappointed in this purchase.I will not order online again from this manufacturer. Only in store so I can check it before I buy it. expensive lesson. Previous purchases from this manufacturer have been quality products for emergency back up issues. but this one was disappointing at best By no means an issue with receiving the product just faulty and I'm not talented enough to fix things myself especially safety issues hopefully a rare problem. Luck of the draw. I feel like the company that supplies the product should have taken it back and repaired it themselves but that's obviously not how it works in today economy and honestly wouldn't have solved the issue I needed back up for a week or so to get my furnace repaired. If you're not handy at repairs like me. Always buy in person and check your unit before purchasing it. When they work. They do the job well.
