This is an Excellent grill / firebox. I have been looking for months to find a decent firebox in my price range. There are a few things that I would not do without. But I wasn't finding anything that met my wish list. Until now. This is seriously heavy duty. Larger and better built than I expected. It should last for many years! It appears to have a nice powder coated finish. The features (cool touch handles, lid design, Ash drawer, etc) are well designed. Easy to assemble as a grill. I'm using it as a firebox. Loved the large heat/smoke transfer opening. It is perfectly positioned at the top of the side. Most fireboxes place the opening several inches from the top, which hinders the flow of heat significantly. Final note, loved that nuts are welded to the inside of the box for easy attachment.

I needed a charcoal BBQ, as well a new side burner for my smoker. This one fit the bill perfectly. It was a snap to assemble and not that big a problem to attach to my smoker. My smoker was not compatible, so I used the firebox adapter plate as a template to drill holes for the attachment. It worked perfect.

This is perfect for small convenience. I use it for small family cooking
