This accessory us indispensable. Growing up I disliked charcoal grills due to the copious amounts of lighter fluid or impregnated briquettes people used. I researched extensively and learned the legitimate grill masters use charcoal chimneys to light their charcoal quickly and efficiently with no lighter fluid taste imparted to the food! In my opinion, this accessory is a must have in addition to a Weber charcoal grill.

Its excellent, you will have a 22 inch kettle full of lit hot coals and ready to cook in under 20 min. I was disappointed with Weber's shipping packiging though because my chimney starter came bent.

Our family has been using these chimney starters from Weber for many many years. TRY IT!!!! you will never use lighter fluid again. You don't realize how much gets absorbed into the meat until you eat meat that hasn't been grilled with any accelerator in/on the charcoal... no matter how much you "think" you have burnt off the fluid. There are other cheaper models of these around but they have not lasted as long as the Weber.

This replaces my original Weber chimney that's over 20 years old. Worth the money

Worked great. Rolled up 2 pieces of newspaper and filled it and lit the bottom, 15 minutes later I had coals ready to grill. My only issue is that during shipment the bottom was damaged - dented slightly which is mostly cosmetic. I would return but didnt want to deal with the hassle.

I wanted to contact the company but was unable to find a phone number for them. My ordered item arrived bent. I hope they reach out to replace the item.
