It works. And thank goodness, because I hesitated buying from a 3rd party vendor. But the shipping was quick, product arrived in perfect condition, and most of all, it works. Just plug it into any outlet. It's about as bright as a dim night light, but it's blue. The sticky card faces the wall so you don't have to look at the dead insects. Just lift the card to throw it away and replace it with a new one. I believe I will always have one of these in my kitchen from now on. Every summer I have an infestation of gnats, or as they're commonly known, "no-see-ums" because they are so small. But they make up for their size in their quantity. At least now I'm prepared for them. Of course it works best with all the lights out as they are attracted to the light this unit emits.

Hi shopper, i have been using these about 2mon., they are excellent!! started working as soon as i plugged them in, had alot of knats, my potting soil and being outside, when i brought them inside, the knats and spider mites was all over the place, have had to change the sticky tapes every 2 weeks, have almost been able too se a difference now!!! DID I MENTION THE KNATS ALSO BITE??

This fly trap really works. It captured so many flies big and small within a week because the door is left open for a period of time. The glue card was completely covered. I had to throw it away. I'm glad I bought extra glue sticks but they do not fit the glue trap even though it states they are compatible so expect cutting the glue cards to fit the insert.

These work surprisingly well. Yes, they are small and the overall illumination seems a bit on the weak side compared to larger insect traps but these DO work. I have two running in our kitchen (Our kitchen is VERY large) and they effectively trap flying insects from all over the house. They are effective against very small flying things (Gnat size or smaller), mosquito, and house flies. We bought these because our dog is a fly catcher and she will chase one around the house for HOURS. We have been using these since early spring (Bought some elsewhere as well) and she has yet to chase anything. We also now only rarely ever see anything flying about and usually....We only see it one time and then it is gone. Since these use LED emitters the power usage is extremely minimal. Yes, eventually you will have to replace them as the emitters wear out but the savings in electricity and replacement bulbs makes them very cost effective.

Not convinced device totally solved the flea problem. Could have resulted from earlier alternate attempts. I did trap some fleas though.

Product was supposed to be model %23DT3005W. I received model %23DT3007W, for which I can not find replacement glue cards.

I gave one star because it only caught one fruit fly, even when it was only a few feet away from where the bananas were and where all the fruit flies hang out.
