Dyson V8 Fluffy Cordless Vacuum | Red | New

I had a Dyson V6 Animal for many years (almost 10). I used it daily, it served me well. Eventually after replacing the battery twice, the motor just gave out. But I loved it! I did try to buy a cheaper version, but I was so disappointed. There was no other option in my mind than to get another Dyson. I saw this red one, the V8 Fluffy (it being my favorite color is a plus), so here we are. I love the fluffy, soft floor brush because I will primarily use it on our hardwood floors. It works beautifully! It picks up dog hair and sand particles easily. The way to dump the canister is a little different. It was scary at first because of the clicking, but everything else seems very similar to the V6. The suction is outstanding! The canister holds quite a bit, and it’s really easy to change out the attachments. I wish the charging holder had room for ALL the of attachments but I make do with a drawer nearby. I’m not leaving it on the charger all the time. I’m waiting for the battery to go down to one bar, then I’ll recharge it. I think that may be why I went through the 2 batteries before. I would just leave it charging all the time. Anyway, I love this vacuum so much!!

love the cordless vacuum! it lives up to the hype. the only thing it has not vacuumed up well our dogs hair from the carpet unfortunately. may not be the best option for shedding pet owners

I bought this for hard floors only and it does wonderfully with them. The convenience of no cord, the power of the vacuum, and the roller that comes with the fluffy version has me vacuuming almost daily and my floors are spotless. The battery gets better with each newer version of this series, this one is more than enough for the probably 2000sqft of hard floors in our home.

This is my second purchase of this model. Bought my first one around 2015 or '16. Been dealing with issues with the battery and not holding a charge, despite buying a new battery. I love this style so much, I had to break down and buy another. The freedom of not being chained to a corded vacuum is beyond liberating. This does an amazing job at cleaning and emptying the dirt collected is super easy. Buying the item on here was the best deal I could find and received it rather quickly. Very happy with my purchase.

This vacuum works like a CHAMP! I got it for my daughter with a white rug and a black dog. It works great, sucks up all the pet hair. She uses it every day and not any problems in the 5 months she's had it.

You don’t realize how convenient not having a cord is until you live with one of these. I vacuum more often in the house is cleaner because I can just grab this use it and be done in quick fashion. The power brush is a little small for this to be your primary vacuum on carpets, however.

This "new" item arrived in an open box which was missing instructions. The vacuum had a dent, scratches and obvious prior use. Inside the dirt chamber. I would not order from Walmart or Dyson again.

Came used, I had to go threw a bunch of zhit with Dyson to get a new one,even thought I purchased a new one but it was clearly used.

I bought this item when it's on sale for $279. However I received an apparently a used item, there are obvious watermark in the tank. I am very unhappy about it. I won't trust any third party seller on walmart.

For $300 and the Dyson name, I expected to receive this vacuum bet ter packaged. Looks like everything was just tossed in a box. Hopefully it’s not damaged…we may sent it back and haven’t even tried it yet. I sent a message to the seller and am hoping to revise this review when I hear back from them.
