Eastern Redbud Tree ( Cercis ) - Live Plant ( 1 QT )

The redbud had healthy leaves with no shipping damage and when I planted it, there was no transplant shock. After several weeks it still has healthy leaves on it.

I'm hoping the tree can withstand the winter. I water it every day. It lost a couple of leaves from the wind the other day, and since there aren't very many leaves right now, I'm concerned.

Save your money and buy a redbud tree in a traditional pot with soil from a local nursery. The tree looked dead on arrival but remarkably grew several healthy looking leaves. After spending an entire season carefully following the instructions and wasting water, all that remains is an 8-inch tall dead twig. It struggled to maintain leaves and didn't grow in height much all season. The neighborhood is now full of redbuds emerging from winter, exploding with color while we we're stuck with a pathetic dead toothpick as a reward for our labor. Tragically, it didn't even survive a season. Nothing could be done to resuscitate our pathetic tree or faith in this companys method of tiny mail-order nursery zombies.

im praying it serves . i didn't look good but planted it after it stopped raining. i watered it in between rain. and it rained this morning so im hoping.

Arrived late. It was dying and leafless. All leaves were at the bottom of the box. Very unsatisfying.
