This test strip kit is very easy to follow the directions. Dip it in the water needing testing for 2 seconds after 15 seconds its ready to read according to the bottle. I performed two tests on my bottled water and the water coming from the sink. There is no chlorine in either. My water from the faucet has a bit of tin it it. They both have zinc. It is pretty interesting for the comparison. I will be testing other water that I am drinking.

I bought it to test for iron in our water but it didn't show much reaction to it even though the rusty sediment was clearly present. My husband tried pouring salt in a glass of water and the test strip didn't show any at all.
