I originally bought the $26 eclipse curtains for my living room but because of the colors I decided to put those in my bed room and buy another set for the living room. The more expensive ones look a little nicer and shinier but these actually block out light a lot better than those other expensive ones. these are plain but they still look Sophisticated . I actually bought them to keep the cold out but it hasn't been cold so I'm curious to see if they keep they cold out as well as they do the light. I bought the Ruby Red ones and I was worried they would be too bright red but they are a darker, more burgundy color which is perfect.
I bought these curtains to block the morning sun in my teenage son's bedroom. He had a variety of items over his windows to block out the sun. The curtains have worked perfectly. I have the navy color and bought 3 for extra fullness. I was leary about purchasing them since the reviews were mixed. I am very satisfied and so is my son.
I have a glass door in my bedroom that allows outside light to beam into my eyes when the sun comes up, and since I work at night and go to sleep around 4 AM, this was a big issue. I started looking for blackout curtains, read all kinds of reviews on Walmart's site and many others. I wanted a bright color to face the interior of the room, so I finally settled on the Eclipse Kids Kendall Blackout Window Curtain Panel. It arrived on time and when I opened the package, I was amazed. Really! I've ordered lots of things online and the colors never seem to be the same as what is represented. This was different. The Purple is very vibrant, the quality is excellent, it's easy to hang on a standard rod, and the best part is that I sleep without being awakened by sunrays anymore. So if you're like me and want a pretty color and the blackout effect, this window curtain is not just for kids. I'm 51 years young. And a little tip; put the curtain in your dryer with a small damp towel for about 20 minutes to take out most of the wrinkles before you hang it. If you still have a few wrinkles, use an iron on low setting but only iron the purple side.
I should have ordered the one with the hooks at the top however this one still dpes the job and I am satisfied with the quality
ive bought these curtains before and i love them, this time i bought for my bedroom. they darken so i can nap during the day. i will definately buy again
The color is pretty (turquoise), but it's darker than in the picture. They don't block out light as well as other light blocking curtains. They aren't easy to open since the material at the top is so stiff. They don't stay open. I'll have to get tie backs or something.
You should know NOT TO BUY THESE WANNABE "CURTAINS". Where do I begin... When I took them out of the plastic zipper bag they were folded and folded and folded up in a little tiny square. And when I unfolded them, they had more wrinkles than my grandmother did when she passed away at 101 yrs old. And they have this awful fishy smell. I gonna try washing them on gentle cycle with warm water and gentle cycle low heat in the dryer. I don't know if I should try ironing them or if it would melt them or ruin them. These would make a great table cloth. They advertise blackout... NOT !! More like light filtering. And it says there supposed to be thermal insulated. Again... NOT ! There only barely "THERMAL COATED" I'm so upset Also different amounts of light makes them appear to be different colors from the other panels. See the pictures below for details. I feel like I've been taken advantage of by the company that sells these wannabe "curtains" . Please... Invest your money on the curtains that cost a little more because you're more likely to get what you paid for.
The color of these curtains was very disappointing. I was expecting a bright lime green, like the picture shows, but it is a darker green. Does not match the bedding at all. I knew there would be a slight difference, but this is ridiculous. I will be returning these.
They are very light don't block sun into the room .. The Fabric is terrible very disappointed returned item.
The curtains were ok in color. But they do not filter out the sun at all.The room is n ust as bright.
