This was a very good product for children to see. The tree had 3 magnifying places where one could observe the ladybugs up close. Very interesting to children. Children can see the ladybugs at any time.

my granddaughter is very interested in ladybugs right now. she is 7 and is excited to watch them grow. i think it will be a great learning experience for her.

This is such a cute and fun little project that I did with my kiddos. They really enjoyed watching the little ladybugs! The only con I have is maybe add more features inside the "home" next time and/or make it a but bigger. Overall, it was really easy and great.

There are no air holes in the container. Solution was to place a small piece of tin foil on top of container and make tin tooth pick sized holes to allow air to come in. This can be taped on open hole once you remove plastic magnifying glass - the size of a quarter. Also keep in mind you have to send money to company which provides lady bug larvae. It costs $12.95 for shipping to get larvae. I'm looking in to other possibilities such as Amazon to get larvae.

this is a very cute place to house a ladybug. the only issue that i had was the lid was kind of tricky......it doesn't line up correctly so you have to mess with it to get it locked properly so ladybugs can't sneak out.

so I'm going to give the honest truth okay I usually don't make comments well to the reviews my son loves it it's a good quality yes the only issue that I have and I noticed is there's no breathing holes in the container to keep the bugs alive I mean the bug's last in the container for about 3 days but I think other than that it's not meant for long term well you know more than a day

My kids were very excited to see this when they got home from school. We opened it up and went out to find some lady bugs. We were not spending the price to have a larva shipped. My girls had fun finding them. We put the water on the sponge and had to research what to feed them since were were given no food for them. (Soaked over night raisins are most convenient) my kids check on them each day but i mostly take care of them. This top falls off easily and so does the middle yellow magnified glass. It was a great idea but needs for work.

my daughter wanted lady bugs and house for Christmas, ordered this! got the ladybug house, with coupon for ladybug eggs. coupon says 12.95 shipping! then went to website to order, and pay the shipping. no shipping cost but have to order eggs for 17.44. cost more than the ladybug house! will order from somewhere else.
