We absolutely love this ant farm! It was super easy to set up, and it came with a code to order the ants! As a homeschool family, this ant farm has really helped liven up our classroom, and it's great for science class! We love it so much, we plan on ordering another that we can connect to it!

This ant farm comes with four connecting antports, 2 bags of tunneling sand, a tunnel starter tool, an antway connector tube and an Ant Watcher's Guide. It also has and online code for ordering live harvester ants. The antports are for connecting additional ant farm habitats. This farm also has a break resistant frame and viewing window. My grandson just loves it. I would highly recommend this ant farm to others.

This is a great way to help kids learn and and for them to watch the way these ants live and their way of life. It's very easy to set this thing up and to get the ants for it and just watch it do the rest. Very fun project for outdoors type kids.

The kit is so cute! It was super easy to order the ants for free with the code included. My kids are anxiously awaiting their arrival! The great think about this ant farm is that we can watch, release, and add more ants again! You can add ants from the yard as well!

Hello, wow this really brought back old memories. Had one back in the 1960's and it is just the same. Our Grand kids are really getting a kick out of the "Farm". Did send away for the Ants but have not received them yet. So we went Ant hunting in the wood pile and found some of the large black Ants. Got about 15 and was surprised in how fast they started to work. Will clean it out when the supply comes in and see how they do. This is a lot of fun and can bring back some of the good old days. Your kids or Grand kids should get a real kick out of it.

I must say I have always wanted an a farm... This item is very cool to watch the way ants live and how they travel around and make mazes. I am enjoying this..

My grandson is having a great time with this, he loves watching the ants go about their lives digging their tunnels. It is also educational for him learning about how they live and work together. He loves reading books about them. The unit is well made and expandable.

This will be a great toy for my nephew visiting in the summer, he is all into animals and especially insects. The box shows what you get: A "farm" with sand and a tube and stick for setting it all up and adding the ants. The ants, however, must be ordered separately and I have not done that yet. I do not want them to sit around for months. I looked at the website and you can buy one or several tubes of ants at 6 dollar each, enter the included discount code and all you pay is shipping and handling, which is also 6 dollars. Educational and fun, just what I like about toys. He can also take this home and either add more farms to it or add ants.

wanted to try out a sand-based ant farm since the price was good and ive had good success with uncle milton brand stuff. one thing I wish they included was a small funnel for the sand, its a very powdery type of sand that can go everywhere once the bags are open and the slide open top is very small to pour it in without making a mess. Im going to still give it an honest try with a set of ants though, but I'd recommend the gel-style ones vs sand if youre wanting to try these.

I received this product and immediately put it together. It was easy to assembly. The instructions was clear and easy to read. The ants can dig tunnels through the sand and that's something that the grandchildren really enjoy watching . It sits up well. And you also have the option to expand your ant farm. I would recommend this to family and friends. Thank you to the company for a great product.
