EGO Power+ Power+ Dual Port Charger

charging system is meant to interact with the battery management system for Ego batteries. batteries sold by Kmart are not Ego brand but seem to interact well with the charger. however it is not clear if there is a risk of overcharging or overheating.

Power up all your EGO+ batteries. Great device, up your power when you need it most. Finally, a company that made their batteries interchangeable between the products. For once, a group of engineers that got it right. Other industries can learn for EGO+, especially car manufactures.

I have only used the machine once but it was in heavy and thick snoe 12Inches. It was easy to operate and it has a lot of power. I used it on a large driveway and sidewalk and it had plenty of power. I was using two 7.5ah batteries which worked well.

I love our new charger! It is so great to be able to grab just this charger and have it look after our charging needs! So much easier to grab this 1 item than a number of single chargers. We have many Ego products. So many people have commented on how impressed they are with our equipment! I would and have, recommended Ego to many ☀️

Super easy to assemble out of the box. After charging, I ran the snow blower on my snow covered driveway. It was quiet and efficient. It picked up the inch of snow and the hidden inch of slush and threw into the grass. Took me maybe 15 minutes to clean a 60 foot long double wide driveway and sidewalks.

Easy to use and quick charge. I keep mine inside for easy access and to keep the batteries out of the cold weather. Unit is reasonably weight. Not too heavy which is nice.

Pretty quick charge for both batteries and the batteries lasted over an hour and a half and still had a bar left. The snow was about a foot deep, drifted. No issues

The EGO dual port charger works as advertised to charge 2 7.5 ah batteries in approximately 90 minutes. The EGO 3 year extended warranty is also a plus on the charger and batteries.

The unit only has one working side. The other side of the unit/charger will blink like it does when charging, but the battery doesn't actually charge, and the fan does not engage, which is an active sign of charging. I had seen other reviews indicating a similar issue, but I didn't see many of them. Guess I would have been better off paying twice this amount (full price) for one that isn't from a 3rd party.
