I've shopped around and this was best price for all of the additional items %26 stuff this sharpener had to offer. Been little shaky so waiting until I'm stronger to sharpen at least 10 pairs of sizzors. The one knife I did was great. I'll continue when I done with my chores in the next couple of days. Great idea for saving the planet, %26 not throwing away sharp objects into landfill.

T this sharpener took a very old and dull steel bladed old hickory knife and sharpened it with an edge that was extremely sharp.

as advertised very good sharpener . better than most others

The unit is light...lighter than i expected. Just means i have to secure it with one hand and sharpen with the other. Not sure what the finishing slot (Step 3) does. I don't feel the knife blade making contact with anything on that step. Had someone else re-read the instructions and they didn't know what was happening with that, either. HOWEVER...it sharpens knives! I closed my pocket knife and the blade barely knicked my finger. Bled like a stuck hog! That blade was SHARP, sure enough!

I liked this unit but somehow ordered 2 different knife sharpeners and happen to like the other unit better.

Works great for all-around kitchen knives.

Doesn't really sharpen knives that well and trying to sharpen scissors is difficult to say the least. Very disappointed in this product. Rather than return it, I donated it to Goodwill.

motor too low of torque or power

Nice concept and it could have been great, but poor implementation/design (i.e. makes knives dull rather than sharp) makes it become its own worst enemy by becoming the antithesis to the designed function. Maybe I received a defective unit? I will stick with stone sharpening... At any rate, your experience may vary.

one leg would not fit when assembled. we finally turned it ipside down and it fit but is unsigh
