I needed a stand up walker mostly for posture issues. Most were not very reasonable and this brand was featured on Walmart with great reviews. I ordered it and three days later it was delivered and assembled by a good friend. Now I can walk a bit taller, healing the muscles in my thoracic area.
This is great, is helping me to standup and walk with it, comes with all the bells and whistles, hand brakes, a seat for fatigue with pocket( under seat )(straps holder for cane, and drink holder!. Can be adjusted in so many areas that you can really adjust it and make it a tailor fit for. you !! I am hoping and praying that it continues to hold for me
This is the best I have purchased. Sturdy and easy to maneuver. Another style I purchased was easy to fold to put in car, but very unstable. This model is not as easy to put in car but is very strong to toodle around on a walk and use in my small home. Love it! Standing straight while supporting my painful body is so much less stressful on wrists, elbows and shoulders. I recommend this model.
I bought this to take to Disney, and after my back surgery. Since I have a hard time walking long distances, I got the walker to help when we went to Disney. All I can say is it was the best investment I could have made! Since it is upright and has arm supports, it relieves pressure on your back and lets you support yourself. I was walking a lot, 9 days at Disney, and at least 4-6 hours each day. It held up great! I was worried it would wear out the wheels, but it wasn't too bad. It definitely did wear a little, but no complaints given the miles and terrain. It was easy to assemble, very sturdy, easy to use, and it works. The only complaint I really have is that it is not really portable, and the folding, excuse my language, sucks. When it's folded, it doesn't stay closed, and it doesn't fold in very much. It is very awkward to carry, and we had a hard time getting it in and out of the back of a crew cab truck. It wouldn't fit in the truck bed unless we took the handles off. Overall, great product! However, if you have a small vehicle or struggle to lift/carry large or heavier items, this won't work for you. If you are looking for something to help you get around and portability isn't an issue, I highly recommend it.
It is a very nice walker but I decided that I need one more partical. It is a great one for tall people but it won't fit into my car unless I lower it each time it is used. I have tried it around my house but I need one that is cost evident and not have to deal with having to adjust everytime-for outside use.
I love my chair. For the first time I can stand up straight to walk which is so much better on my back. This walker will extend the years I will be able to walk on my own, my wheel chair will have to wait for a few more years I will be free to move around on my own.
I love my stand up walker. I have a bad knee and the walker lets me take some of the weight to the arm rests. It lowers the pain level and is easier on the back. It took a while to get it together but if you take the pieces out and check the photo instructions it is fairly easy to put together.
This may be for someone who has long arms, my husband does not like it and we ended up donating it. The space where your elbows and arms go seems uncomfortable and when he first tried it out and walked his knees hit the seat so there is not much space and room for you to walk and roll it in front of you as if they did not think about the space between you walking and the seat, his knees kept hitting the seat. We ended up donating it and if only for that, it was worth it.
Did not order this just the cushions for a Tolstoy . Had to leave my apartment and missed them coming. Would like them to come back again and take the rotator and heating pad. Sorry I missed them calling. Please send someone back to pick up these items
it should have brakes on lower handles as well. when elderly puts top brakes on they cannot move it while sitting. no way to unlock the top brakes while sitting. how can you add a double brakes to make it completely safe for my mom. she hasn't used this walker because she isn't safe. or can I return it? It is built....I don't have the box.
