With Sumner just around the corner the fire ants show up in mass quantities. it's usually a problem because you can never really get down into their colony to eradicate them all. Our family gathering are always plagued with children screaming because they've been attacked. Now I just use half a cup on each tower and water it with 2 gallons of water and the treatment gets all the way down into their colony. This 15 pound bag is sure to last me a few summers. It kills for up to 6 months after application so hopefully we'll have a better outside experience this year.
This fire ant killer works to control the appearance of ants and many other insects. It covers a large surface area of grass and works all year long for prevention. It is simple to spread using one of the leading brand spreaders on the market. I have been using this product for awhile and have never had a problem with insects taking over my yard.
Living in the country, fire ants are plentiful, especially after a rain. This product is effective, whether with broad application or mound treatment. The 15 lb bag is a bargain compared to other brands. Handle with care, as you should with any pesticide
We gave this product a try after spotting ants on our kitchen ceiling. Ants can damage wood, so it was a big deal for us. We sprinkled the granules around the perimeter of the house to stop ants from climbing walls and to prevent more ant colonies from forming. The granules have served as a good deterrent as the trails are empty now. Since the product can be hazardous to humans, we used gloves and masks when handling the product.
A great product to get rid of those pesky fire ants, so your lawn is fire, ant, free. Great so you know your family is safe from bites as well as your pets definitely glad to spread it on my lawn before summer hits and keep up with the maintenance to not have any more fire ants
This product is for treating fire ant mounds which we have emerging in our front yard. We don't like them at all. Handle and store with care. This product is hazardous to children, pets and especially water creatures. We applied it in front as there was no chance of rain and we have to prevent this from run off, sewers and entering the water system. It is advertised to begin working immediately. it is easy to apply and it appears the ants don't like it very much! We will know more in 12 hours.
Having grown up in West Texas, I've long battled with problematic fire ants, so I decided to try Eliminator Texas Lone Star Fire Ant Killer. After sprinkling it throughout my lawn, I was impressed by its coverage and its effectiveness in getting rid of those stubborn fire ant mounds. For anyone struggling with pesky fire ants, I confidently recommend this fire ant killer as a dependable solution.
The product works. I just applied it to an anthill close to my walkway and all the ants disappeared in less than an hour. It will be interesting to see when I dig it up tomorrow morning. The granules are really dry and will absorb water to make it last longer. Good product
I used the Eliminator fire ant killer granules on a mound that appeared in my yard. The instructions were clear and it seems to have worked. I would prefer the bag be resealable. At 15 lbs, I certainly hope there isn't an occasion to use all at once so the ability to reseal the bag is most ideal.
Didn't kill any of the ants in my yard , I wouldn't recommend
