that cement glue is very good, I love the elmers brand. but on this occasion when trying to buy it, it is increased in price, and previously bought with this same seller. On this occasion, its price increased a lot and my order arrived badly packed. Sad
I would recommend this item b cause I enjoy using it! This is t Best of Elmer's! And, I am wanting to stock on up this- b cause I don't to run out of it- when I am working on a projects! It was affordable and, I hope that the price will not go up... B cause I am on a fixed income! I use this item in every projects- from books, posters and, etc! And the clean up is- Super Positive! I am very sure that other customers will feel the same! Thank You Walmart, Junie The pictures below are projects- that I had used Elmer's No- Wrinkle Rubber Cement... Elmer's is Terrific!
This is my "go-to" or "turn-to" glue! I send out...shhh-I'm not going to say how many cards and postcards I send out each week! Suffice it to say PLENTY! Make my own cards with Hallmark Card Studio and Pen Gear Premium Card stock. Sometimes I will print a cartoon off the internet and glue it inside the card along with a caption! For my postcards I try to find funny/pithy/thought provoking quotes and I print them off and then glue them to the postcard, along with the address! No wrinkles! No excess moisture (you know how that goes with paper and white glue)! Any excess glue I just rub off with a soft rag! This is my second quart bottle. Love this stuff!
Mine did not come in the metal container shown in the photo, rather, a large, brown plastic bottle (like the smaller ones), which actually makes for easier storage. The large one does not come with a brush applicator, which I didn't assume it would, so make sure you have a small one which you can refill with this product. It has a child-safe lid so it doesn't leak all over the place, and when new, comes with a protective cover over the opening. Same great product you look for with regular rubber cement, and what a deal!
I bought this Elmer's Rubber Cement a month and I am very pleased. A large plastic quart container arrived, rather than the can pictured, which is better yet!
The best product for my needs. It is acid free, items adhere to what I need them to and it's easy to clean up any mistakes - just let it dry and rub it up into a rubber ball.
I use this glue when doing creative projects with cardstock. It goes on easy and I can genrly wipe off any excess because it will dry and rub off without creating any problems on the cardstock.
This is what we ordered, however, I was excited to finally get the good old refillable can. When my order arrived it was the bottle. I do prefer the cans, but the bottle does work too.
So glad Walmart is still selling this product, it is my absolute glue I use for my scrapbook ingredient it works so well, I would give it a 5 stars, EXCEPT THE SHIPPING AND PACKAGING IS TERRIBLE,THAT WOULD RATE A -5, THERE WAS NO WAY TO FIGURE OUT THE TRACKING FOR 2 PACKAGES I HAD COMING THEY WERE SO CONFUSING TO FOLLOW, AS FOR THE PACKAGING THAT WOULD RATE A -10, I ORDERED 2 QT BOTTLES AND WHAT I RECEIVED WAS NOTHING SHORT OF A MESS, THE BOTTLES WERE TOSSED IN A BOX THAT WOULD HOLD 4-6 BOTTLES THERE WAS "NO PACKING MATERIAL USED" AND THE TOP OF THE BOX WASN'T EVEN COMPLETELY TAPED SHUT THE TAPE STOPPED 1 INCH FROM THE END OF THE TOP FLAPS TO TAPE THE TOP DOWN, AFTER THE BOTTLES WERE KNOCKED AROUND DURING SHIPPING 1 BOTTLE HAD EXPLODED AND EMPTIED ALL OVER IN THE BOX AND THRU THE BOTTOM WITH BOTH BOTTLES COVERED IN RUBBER CEMENT, LUCKILY ONE WAS STILL FULL AND SEALED BUT STILL COATED IN THE RUBBER CEMENT, THOSE BOTTLES SHOULD HAVE BEEN WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP TO KEEP THEM FROM BEING BATTERED AROUND!!!!!, THE WORSE PACKAGING I HAVE EVER SEEN AN NOT EXCUSABLE EITHER!!!!!! SO BEWARE OF THE PACKAGING OF THESE ITEMS- SHAME ON YOU WALMART!!!!!
The can is more useful to me than a bottle for my line of work. Now I have to pour the bottle into my old can and waste some in the transfer. I ordered a can that was pictured and given the bottle.
