I keep these on hand for emergencies, one in my car and one in each of my bikes. They also come in handy when camping and my sleeping bag isn't quite warm enough. They're noisy as sleeping bag liners, but make the difference between being cold and being warm!
I purchased this product to use in an emergency while hiking. I have not opened it. It is an appropriate size/weight for my pack. I hope I never have to open it, and feel better knowing it is close by.
I purchased this item ahead of winter weather. I have two outside fur babies I've been feeding for several months. I was blessed when a neighbor gave me a dog house she didn't need. Googled how to prepare winter a shelter. Suggested along with "straw" %26 styrofoam is mylar. I tapped this item (mylar) to walls on top of styrofoam. Lastly I through in "straw" on styrofoam on floor. Today dangerous winter storm hit, ice %26 snow. While I was out cleaning porch %26 steps, youngest fur baby came up just mewing. This his 1st winter. Went in house, fixed his food, put in microwave to heat. He followed me to house/shelter. Put food in house %26 coaxed him. He went right in %26 started eating. Sure hope he stays in there til tomorrow when I feed him again. This mylar will help keep him warm during freezing temperatures.
This is just what I needed. Good quality and quantity for the price. I'm so glad to have them in case of an emergency!

These blankets are ideal to carry in baggage as well as in your vehicles, home, place of work and bug-out bags. Was so grateful I had one when I got stranded at Knoxville, TN airport in November 2022. Brisk start to winter but these kept me from freezing.
used these on set when filming on chilly nirnings!
