Compared to the price of the Big Name Brand, it's a no brainer to buy the Equate brand! It's a quality shampoo and conditioner that does the job for me!

"Equally" as good as "Head %26 Shoulders" brand but far less expensive! I've used both and this product actually leaves me feeling cleaner every time.

we only use the shampoo in our household. we haven't had any dandruff problems for years and it's because of this shampoo. it works perfectly it does its job. I use it, my husband uses it. there are no flakes, our scalps aren't dry anymore.

Excellent, effective for dandruff control. Works just as well as head and shoulders. Has conditioning inside, I believe, leaving your hair more fluffy. I have been using it for several years now.

I've been using Head and Shoulders (without conditioner) brand for over a year, no problem. Thought I'd try the Equate version with conditioner to save money. It was the worst shampoo I've ever used, including non shampoo liquid soap when in a bind. I couldn't get a wide tooth wet hair comb thru it without pulling and breaking. It was a tangled mess even after dried and got retangled throughout the day. FYI, I have straight, thin, shoulder-length hair. I've been happy with all the many other Equate substitutions I tried, but not this time.

Recieved this damaged shampoo bottle that was leaking and was delivered to me like this as seen in the pictures. Walmart of course doesn't do anything about their mistake, instead they just blame me as a customer because apparently they do nothing wrong.
