Because I use it for cleaning up after anything gross (like handling raw meat) it is so nice to have it in a spray bottle that is brown, so people won't confuse it with water and spray it in their hair or something. I haven't researched all the uses, but I bet there are a lot. A.I. says: It's a powerful sanitizer that kills bacteria, viruses, and mold spores. It's environmentally friendly because it breaks down into water and oxygen, making it a greener alternative for some cleaning and bleaching tasks, and is an effective cleaner that cuts through grease and removes stains. So if you have baking soda on hand to mitigate fungi, I think you've got a remedy for most germs. A.I. also says you can safely mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda (which may inhibit the growth of fungi) to create an effective, non-toxic cleaning paste or solution for various household tasks. The combination creates a fizzing reaction that releases oxygen gas, which helps break down stains, cut through soap scum, and eliminate odors.
My bathtub looked like a crime scene because I accidentally sprayed two different chemicals in it. This little, less than $2, bottle of hydrogen peroxide not only rectified my problem but also cleaned out other water stains I couldn't remove with any other chemicals. I really wish I took before and after pictures. I Highly recommend this product!!
This spray is a staple in my cabinet—affordable, easy to use, and effective for basic household cleaning and disinfecting. I know it would be more eco-friendly to transfer peroxide into a reusable glass spray bottle, but I'm hesitant about exposing it to air or light during the transfer. Until I find a better solution, I just keep buying these. It's not fancy, but it's reliable and convenient, which counts for a lot.
This spray is a far better way to package the product for first aid applications. I could find no use by stamp anywhere on the bottle, just a lot code I looked up 'stabilized' hydrogen peroxide - it is supposed to last much longer on the shelf. Note the $1.oo Equate 16 oz bottle lists regular HP, not stabilized. Another brand for $6 is stabilized. After learning about the difference I would nut buy non-stabilized unless I was planning on using it up quickly. The sprayer makes a fine mist, better than just pouring or blotting the stuff from a bottle. It can also treat musty smelling/dirty clothing or upholstery or bedding.
i purchased this to use on mold on drywall… the spray bottle is rather small but i assumed i could easily replenish it when i ran out. I was wrong. the cap is not a conventional screw on sprayer … it has mysterious splines that make unscrewing and re screwing the sprayer VERY DIFFICULT and its secure closer quite a crap shoot. … very disappointing. Im replenishing the peroxide with Walmart product, but, I guess they assume that the only way to make money on this item is to force a repurchase… not happening, brother. I'm disgusted enough to find alternatives.
I use Equate hydrogen peroxide as a cleaner for our fitness equipment room. I spray it on the padded rubber room floor mat, on the treadmill, and the handles of exercise equipment. I purchase the spray bottle because it's a convenience of a spray and bottle in one, and then refill it with the 32 oz. bottles that I purchase and this way, a label is always on the product. I also like the convenience that the sprayer on the bottle is easy to use. Also know that hydrogen peroxide can bleach your clothes if you accidentally get it on them. I also have used it on my animals when they have had cuts.
I got the size in the spray bottle for spraying down our mattress during spring cleaning. Very convenient in this form. To buy a larger size to refill a spray bottle would have been wasteful; peroxide loses its strength within six months of opening. It's only a good buy if you get to make use of it.
I like this spray peroxide because it's not as messy as when you have to pour you lose more when you pour then you do when you spray it so I enjoyed that part. I'm not necessarily like the putting it on the wounds, but it's still good at product that I would recommend for anybody.
I thought it was going to be convenient, but when I received it half the bottle was in the bottom of my bag, so you guys need to figure out some way to make it where the cat doesn't loosen in the lid come loose worse product leaks out because I'm not getting more bang for my buck as y'all would think
I just do not understand 1) Why the labels were ripped off the bottles, 2) Why some of the bottles were nearly empty, 3) Why the tape placed over the nozzles, extending to the bottoms on both sides, is not more "user friendly". The tape residue is impossible to remove rendering the product unusable. Just poor decisions and poor planning on walmart's part. Again.
