This stuff is great for me and my dog! But the best thing was that it got left in tubs brought out at pickup accidentally and another delivery person came back out if store to give it to me!! That was awesomely a sign of a consciences worker, she should get a raise!!!

Would recommend even it's a generic brand brand

Amy October 31, 2025

I have dry skin especially in the winter time. This is a generic brand that still helps with my dry skin. It's just as good as the name brand. Just cheaper and saves you a few extra dollars.

I really like using this product. I've had a lot of dermatology biopsies. this helps it heal scar free. I'm allergic to "neosporin" and this heals for so many other things.

Excellent stuff! Have used this more expensive twin %26 decided to try this for a change. Was very pleased with it %26 passed this along to my husband, who had cracked spots on his feet, %26 was worried something serious was happening. They were just horribly dry areas. I suggested to use this %26 put on cotton socks for next couple of days. The areas which were deeply cracked were completely healed! Nice!

Great product, no need for name brand

Suzette January 16, 2025

I like using "Aquaphor" for skin protection like skin wounds to help protect and heal them. I also use it on my horse's legs after clipping so they don't get "scratches" as it seems to protect any micro nicks they might get from clipping. I haven't seen any difference in quality compared to the name brand.

Healing ointment diminishes dry skin

Cruciferous October 19, 2024

The temperature dropped significantly the 1st week in October this yr (30's-40's) and my skin when from tan and nurished to extremely dry. So I bought Equate beauty advanced healing ointment, and like always it worked like a charm! My only downfall is that I didnt know that I bought the pocket sized one. I didnt think Walmart sold travel sizes for store delivery, but I should have looked for how many ounces. Anyhow, perfect product for dry skin!

No better than straight petroleum jelly

Miranda March 29, 2026

I tested this against straight petroleum jelly/Vaseline and it wasn't any more moisturizing than Vaseline. For more than double the cost of Vaseline, this is not worth it.

Just buy Aquaphor

Tricia June 25, 2025

I have dishydrotic eczema and I use Aquaphor to help with flair ups. it helps moisturize the skin without being too greasy. I bought this product hoping to save some money but I ended up throwing out the bottle. It isnt comparable to Aquaphor at all. The ointment is gritty, not smooth, and also feels incredibly greasy. It drys on your skin within a few minutes and doesn't moisturize the areas at all. With Aquaphor, I just have to use a dime sized amount for my whole foot. I had to use several applications of this Equate brand just to last through the night. Just buy Aquaphor. Even regular petroleum jelly would be better than this stuff.

Nope.

Kellie September 19, 2025

Not at all anything like Aquaphor even though it has the same ingredients. It's more like Vaseline. I use Aquaphor for my lips and slugging before bed and this is much more oiling and doesn't help my lips the way Aquaphor does. I always reach for it over Vaseline because Aquaphor does 100% better for me when it comes to chapped lips. I'm usually all for grabbing a generic version of something, but this one was a big miss.
