Equate Children's Allergy Cetirizine Hydrochloride Antihistamine Oral Solution, Grape Flavor, 1 mg, 4 fl oz

My 4yr old doesn't hate taking this Equate equivalent to Zyrtec. She has chronic all-season allergies, both indoor and outdoor. Her pediatrician prescribed a prescription variety of Zyrtec, but we've discovered that this works just as well, but costs less than either the prescription or the brand name.

This allergy liquid medicine has been a lifesaver for my 12-year-old this year. His allergies have been especially bad, and he's been pretty miserable, so finding something that actually helps and tastes good made a big difference. He usually hates taking medicine, but this one he takes without any complaints. It works well, gives him real relief, and the great taste makes it so much easier to stay consistent. Definitely a must-have for allergy season in our house.

Only type of OTC allergy meds that actually help my daughter. Works as well as name brand, but cheaper price. Has nice grape flavor. Doesnt leave gross aftertaste. Non drowsy formula.

Great product! My kids have used this for years. Just as good as the name brand! Great for seasonal allergies!

I am an adult, but I take this because it works better for me than the pills. I need to take a half dose and breaking pills is a pain. It works just as good for me as Zyrtec. Not all generics do - some are not even the same ingredients. READ the labels! I have menopause induced hives and this is what I take regularly to keep them under control. The taste of this particular flavor isn't my favorite, but it's not so bad I wouldn't buy it. Kids probably love it. lol

I always buy equate brand cetirizine but for some reason my kids absolutely hate this grape flavor this time. We always choose grape flavored equate medicines when available but this one apparently tastes awful. Bit kids cry when I get the bottle out now 😔
