I bought these in place of my usual brand. I like these better. The floss is thinner and gets between my teeth easier. I had to yank on the old kind to get it out. This slips right in and out and really gets the job done. The taste is good to me. Minty and not over powering. I floss a lot and I go through them fast. They are really a good price for how many you get. The sick floss is so much easier than the roll.
I have purchased equate brand floss picks before, but these are different. The floss part breaks when I put them between my teeth. I usually go thru 2-4 breaking before I find one in the bag that holds up. They break in between the first teeth flossed too.
These were changed. The floss part isn't as good, it's weaker and shreds quickly. The worst part is the toothpick part itself. It's very hard and the end is so sharp it's basically a shiv! I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally stabbed myself with one of these and I have drawn blood! Be careful, these are dangerous!
I have bought this product for a while and it worked good. However something has changed and the pick end of the floss stick has been breaking off IN MY TEETH. The way it breaks makes it hard to dig the tip out.
The new ones are too thick to fit the pick end between teeth. It is also no longer a flexible plastic. It will crack if you try too hard. They use a cheaper composite now.
Either the floss breaks or it breaks the floss holder when you try to go between teeth, and the tooth pick part isn't very flexible they made them so thick you can't pick between teeth and the tip breaks off and I got bit stuck between my teeth once . will not buy again .
Not sure if this product should be on the shelves. It breaks apart into small pieces that if you're not careful you can swallow it or get stuck in between your teeth.
These things are almost useless! The picky end doesn't quite fit between your teeth. It's not picky. It's kind of hard to explain, made me wishing I had an old wooden toothpick and the flossy, end works until the floss breaks out of it, which is almost immediately I would not recommend these they are the worst.
I am a dental hygienist, these floss picks are seriously dangerous and should be pulled from the shelves. The "pick" part is EXTREMELY sharp. I deeply stabbed my finger trying to grab one out of the bag. There is absolutely no need for them to be sharp at all, let alone like a shank!
These used to be great. We finished our last bag and expected a good, flexible pick that was sturdy. Instead, this opaque sparkly version is a stiff plastic and the string broke on the first use. The pick is too wide to really do much except break off. I'm obviously not the only one that does not approve of this penny pinching move from equate, but you can add me to the list of people who are very disappointed with this brand. Unless I see them changed back to the previous quality, I will not be buying these again and would not recommend them. Spare me the 800 number, I'd be on hold longer than this bag is worth.
