This is a nice looking cane that can be stowed away basically anywhere. It's got a wood handle, and an aluminum adjustable shaft. The shaft comes together with a thick, elastic, bungee-type cord, and you can separate it without a problem to break it down. If you require a cane sometimes and have little space I would recommend it!

I like the bottom and how it stabilizes me when I'm wobbly. I like how the cane folds up so I can put it in my purse and not worry about it being in the way so others might trip or fall. The handle has a nice grip that fits my hand perfectly. I like how it's adjustable on the length. Overall it's a wonderful cane and I've already recommended to others and let others try it out and they're going to buy one.

This folding cane is amazing. It is so easy to use, yet very sturdy for stability in walking. It opens up quite easily and it takes no effort to fold it up. We even kept the plastic envelope it came in for easy storage. We are an older family, Christmas presents this year for those in our family that has difficulty walking, will certainly be a Folding Cane.

The Equate Folding Cane is so handy..Although I love being active, once in a while my sciatica act's up and at time's I use a cane when the pain is really bad...The Equate Folding Cane is the best..It fold's up small enough to carry in a purse and yet when extended it is so sturdy.. It's not heavy or bulky and has a good gripping handle..Great Product!!

Honestly before trying this cane would not have purchased but having using two weeks was impressed. I use a cane everyday for walking and fall prevention due to multiple health problem. Think this is important to share. Handle comfortable with ergonomic grip and very stylish. Heavy stable cane support "foot". Folds and unfolds easily enough. The only negative review is took a few days for the cane to stop making a rattling noise when unfolded and in use. I've found that to be the case with other fold up cane ie: "Hurrycane"...Not sure if mentioning another product brand name is acceptable but found Equate Fold Up Cane comparable.

There are 2 separate parts one the folding cane and then the base in its own package. The hardest thing was opening the package. The cane is light and folds and unfolds easily, And yes it does stand alone. There is no additional maneuvering required just let go. I could not find this item at first and thought it did not come. However my elderly father who had a stroke discovered it and took possession of it. He fell in love with it not because it easily folds but, just let go and it doesn't fall. I went yesterday and bought my own.

I love my Equate Folding Cane. I put it in my bag, and it automatically extends when I take it out. No more times where you are moving your cane out of the way of others, because it is safety hazard. Folds up to the length of a 12 inch ruler. Great for traveling or just shopping.

It straightens out in a flash, but the sections have to be manually pulled apart to fold the cane back up. I wish it had a Velcro strap to hold all the parts together after folding and a loop for the wrist. Your hand has to grasp (encircle) all 4 parts to carry it. It does not come with the tripod stand.

I walk with a cane off and on so being able to easily pack or bring a cane with me is important. This can fits easily in my purse and the console of our minivan. It can be opened to full size in seconds. The grip is shaped so it fits securely in my hand but I do wish it was a bit more padded. Overall this is great as an everyday or backup cane, it is easy to bring anywhere and mostly comfortable to use.
