Equate Lansoprazole Delayed Release Capsules 15 mg, Acid Reducer, 42 Count, 3 Pack, Compare to Prevacid 24 HR Active Ingredient

I've always had pretty bad heartburn. (GERD) I've tried ask sorts of OTC and RX m medications. My dad also ḥas really bad heartburn and he's been taking lansoprazole, so i tried it. i take 2 in the AM and that usually gets me through the whole day. sometimes ill take 1 around bed time just to hold me over. h

I've used lansoprazole for a long time to address acid stomach and acid reflux, but dosage/combo changes sometimes necessary to remain effective. Lansoprazole is taken 30 minutes before breakfast (also just before bed if a health provider recommends as mine did). The evening dose was fine, but if I wait longer than 30 minutes to eat, I begin to feel a bit unwell and headachy. That effect is less with the 15mg OTC dose than the 30mg prescription does. I'm glad Walmart has the 42 count 3-pack available at such a reasonable price, but the packaging is excessive. Much more ecologically sound would be a single plastic bottle preferably without cardboard around it. Walmart does sell 200 ct famotidine in one small bottle which is great. My current regimen is one OTC 20 mg famotidine before bed and one OTC 15 mg lansoprazole in the AM. As per my gastroenterologist, these product work differently and the combo used this way might be more effective than 2-a -day lansoprazole. It has been.

This is a great product. I take two every morning, per my doctor's instructions. No heartburn, acid reflux or sour stomach all day! it really works. Great value for the price, too. I found this product at many stores, but it is the least expensive at WALMART.

I've been using prevacid for many years till our ins got cut off.. Soon as this came available over the counter I was thrilled to have the chance to use it, since it is much cheaper then the name brand.. I take two daily though, cause this is 1/2 dose of prescription one I took.. It works just as well, and I am very happy with it.. I have acid reflux and can not skip using an acid reducer daily without horrible heartburn.. Other products do not last or work as well for me..

I have severe reflux and was prescribed this medication for daily use. If I do not use this medication, I spend the night having to sit up to sleep because of the reflux. If I take this on a daily basis I can eat most any foods (as long as I do not eat right before bedtime) without getting reflux or an upset stomach. I highly recommend this for anyone who has heartburn or reflux!

Best price I could find. Cheaper than Costco. Relieves indigestion even though I only take it every other day.

I've tried several other PPI meditations, but Prevacid (lansoprosole) works best for me. I can eat more spicy dishes and not be bothered I by heartburn. Also, I don't wake up in the morning with a burning throat. So glad it's avaliable.

I have acid reflux and one of these every morning helps tremendously! I purchased a 3 pack which was more economical the last time I needed them. Good product and would recommend!

I have had GERD for awhile and this is the same as a prescription one and much cheaper. I helps my indigestion along with another one. If I don't have it I really don't want to live that way. It's really good and I recommend it for indigestion.

The delivery person did not respond to my chat requests. This is not even close to esomeprazole (Nexium) and I did not approve the substitution. I asked that Nexium be substituted. She never responded to my chats. She did not add her substitution to my delivery, so there is nothing to return or refund
