Equate Stainless Steel Bandage Scissors, 1 Count

I needed a sharp pair of scissors to cut through a bandage and Equate Stainless Steel Bandage Scissors did not disappoint. They come in handy for cutting a bandage to size or for cutting a bandage (carefully) from a wound. I haven't tried to put these scissors to other uses, but they may be useful for other purposes than what is advertised.

My nurse %26 I love these scissors. The blade is short, which is fine for me, but if you need longer blades choose another. My nurse is the only one to use them thus far, but she says they are great %26 very sharp!

These scissors are awesome, very sharp! Cuts through bandages like they were paper. For the price, these things are a no brainer! After the first pair arrived, next day I ended up buying 2 more pairs! Great buy, fully recommend.

Great little scissors. I have to have my leg wrapped twice a week so when i cut the thick bandage off, these things cut through like butter and never nick the skin. Thought I lost my first set, ordered a second set, then found my first set. Never have enough of a good thing!

These scissors are very sturdy which was great for me as I was using these to cut %26 remove bandages from my horse's foot on a daily basis. The rounded tips and flatness of the scissors makes it easy to slide them under bandages and safer. And you can't beat the cost. They continue to hold up well. I highly recommend them.

Besides carrying one of these in the first aid kit of each of my hiking, climbing, hunting packs, I use them in making tin can rocket stoves. I use these to cut "star legs" using the end of a slightly larger can to create a "multi prong "star leg" to put in the bottom of of a rocket stove. Push it in and if the fit is good, there is no rattle. Walmart also sells the old fashion beer/soda bottle/triangle piercing can opener needed to make the vent holes for a rocket stove... search for " Old Fashioned Can Opener"

These scissors are great for cutting single layers of a bandage, but are not good for cutting many layers at one time. When I have to change a bandage wrapped around a leg many times, I have to cut them in layers if I use these scissors. However, if I want to cut open a sleeve of 2 X 2 gauze or any package holding bandages, then it works just fine.

I thought I was buying new scissors. It has scratch marks and fingerprints but packaged like new. I don't know who used it. Is it even safe to touch it? Yikes!
