I recently had to have lower dentures. After three tries to get a good fit, I resigned myself to acknowledge that it was not going to happen. I have tried every denture adhesive on the market. Most contain zinc which is harmful. They also cost $6-8. I purchased the Equate brand for several reasons. The adhesive hold better than anything I tried. The price was definitely better. I have used various Equate products and have always been pleased. Also, this was the only one that doesn't contain zinc.
I was skeptical of using this product vs my usual fixodent strong hold... up to this point, that's was the strongest hold out of all the similar products I've tried I am super surprised that this product is so strong! easy to squeeze out and easy to apply. will be purchasing again! make sure to grab some equate denture cleaning tablets also! soak em overnight for easy clean up in the morning
This denture adhesive really is a match to super poligrip and for most people this would be all they need for a full days hold. But is you have severely mis fitting dentures it's just not enough hold. So unfortunately, I had to try the new 12 hr hold poligrip... and voila its perfect.
As a long term denture user I have tried many brands. Most have not done well. This equate super hold is the second best I have tried and significantly cheaper than the top brands. It does well in holding, and lasting time. Not too bad a process in cleaning the dentures. It works great.
Equate makes best generic dental adhesive for "uppers". Tried others generic brands , no others work as good as the Equate brand. It works good on my uppers - yet "never sealed " "nor held" all day on lowers . Was going stop getting Equate adhesive when they switched to the "pink' tube . Although it's only a color , plus using Equate on uppers and Fixodent on lowers it makes both last longer.
Denture adhesive is one of those products that people rarely discuss, but anyone who wears dentures usually has very strong opinions about. Let's be honest: when you're laughing, talking, eating, or going about your day, the last thing you want is to wonder whether your dentures are planning an unexpected exit. Good adhesive matters. I've used name-brand adhesives for years, and while they worked well, they can be expensive. I decided to give this Equate version a try, and honestly, I ended up liking it even better. The hold is solid and dependable throughout the day, which is obviously the most important part. What really surprised me, though, was how much easier cleanup was. With some adhesives, removing the residue from the roof of your mouth can be uncomfortable and sometimes downright frustrating. This one seems to strike a nice balance. It keeps my dentures securely in place, but when it's time to remove them, the adhesive either comes out with the denture or is much easier to clean away. For me, that easier removal was a game changer. If you've been paying name-brand prices and wondering whether the store brand is worth trying, I'd say absolutely give this one a chance. It holds well, cleans up more easily, and costs less. That's a win in my book.
I've used this denture adhesive xream Walmart a few times and the only difference between this and Polident/top shelf variety is 1. Walmart product is considerably cheaper price wise 2. To me, it does NOT last as long in your mouth on your dentures, bridge, etc. as the more Expensive brands,i.e Polident. The seal appears to be comparable to the more expensive ones but it doesn't last all day %26 night like Polident
this is the worst send the little money but not worth it since you're using so much extra. with Poli I might have to use it twice a day depending on how active I am I had to use this six times yesterday at one point I even went soaked and cleaned by dentist to make sure nothing was on them still did not stick for more than 2 hours
This is not as good as the Blue tube Equate. I don't like this kind because when you drink a hot drink the dentures loosen up and I can't eat meals without my upper dentures flopping down. Won't buy the Pink label again. No grip or holding after my coffee.
It was supposed to be a twin pack; that is what I ordered %26 billed, but it was only 1 pack. Please send another one. I live 40 minutes away, %26 won't drive there for that.
