eufy Security Video Doorbell E340 with Battery

I love it! Clear pics and video, the video comes on fast and detects quick. Love that it can recognize individuals. Saves lots of data and doorbell comes with different chimes. Bests my old Blink system, huge improvement. I'll be purchasing Eufy 4k cams next!

I've had eufy products for about 8-9 years and never had any problems whatsoever, when the doorbell and homebase came on sale I jumped on it. I hooked it up and it worked great. I am notified if a package comes, if people are here, it lights up at night. Everything that I could want Three thumbs up for this item.

I picked this camdoorbell because it has advanced features and wasn't too terribly expensive. I'm letting the battery drain all the way down before I charge it back up and so far, it's been about 5 months since install. Camera resolution is very clear and the voice when away is very clear and in real time. Very happy with this purchase.

Coming from a Ring Doorbell Pro 2, the Eufy E340 doorbell is a giant upgrade. Has better ability to see and report when packages are delivered and left by door. The Hombase 3 is super useful, I have other Eufy cameras in addition to the Eufy doorbell. The Homebase makes all video play smoothly, and locally stores video from the doorbell as well as security cameras. And Walmart had the lowest price on this bundle! Delivered fast, very satisfied!

Easy set up. Only part that was tricky was setting up the boundaries for capruring. We live on a busy street with quite a bit of foot and vehicle traffic. Took a few tries to get the settings just right so it doesn't pick people walking/driving by. Finally got it to stop picking vehicles up but still occasionally picks up people walking by. Know this is just a matter of working with the settings again though. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

Purchased 2 of these as replacements for my ring camera set up, I was tired of paying subscription fees to see who was coming to my door each day. Product is well built, battery usage is terrible. I have the settings so it almost never activates, unless there is someone in front of the unit, due to the battery lasts about 24 hours before needing replaced and recharged. Battery replacement is a pain in the neck, you have to remove the unit from its holder to replace the battery and they provide you with a sim style removal tool. The tool is flimsy and bends out of shape quickly. The app is a bit wonky in being able to review the video the unit has taken, though the quality of the video is good.

If you are not tech savvy or don't have anyone to assist you with installation of this device I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you do get this installed and then purchase a home base it needs to be uninstalled in order to get it to connect to the home base and then reinstall doorbell. I paid $129.00 for initial installation and now I'll have to pay someone again. I'm 78 years old

camera is okay. battery is drained way to quickly even if put on detect humans only. if the sun hits the camera directly then you need to be careful the camera will not overheat and shutdown which thankfully has not happened to me but I did get a message once about my camera overheating. other than that camera is good.

The Eufy E340 with hub worked relatively fine, with the exception that Life feed cut off after five minutes. I got rid of my ring due to it. Cutting off the live feed in eight minutes. There is not a Eufy video doorbell that has continuous feed per their support reps. I went with a Reolink instead, which has a much clearer picture and continuous live feed. One thing I did like about the Eufy was the dual camera for viewing if packages are left on the doorstep but the five minute live feed was a dealbreaker for me.

Don't buy through walmart.com. Item went on sale at a lower prices days after my purchase on walmart.com, also elswhere was a much better price so I purchased them a 2nd time for the lower price elsewhere since walmart.com won't price match. Eufy is being hesitant on taking the items back even though the boxes have not been opened. They insist I must pay return shipping. Thanks Eufy for much less than stellar customer service, Walmart.com said I have 30 days for returns and nothing about returns ONLY if there is a defect.
