I have been purchasing the store brand filters and was happy to try and compare the Whirlpool brand. This is easy to install, no issues. I feel like the water tasted a little cleaner, better than what I've been using. The flow was good and I'm happy I will get 200 gallons of filtered water. With all the contaminants and water issues, I feel safer using a trusted brand. This is NSF certified. I highly recommend giving this filter a try, it does make a difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whirlpool Water Filters are easy to install and do a good job of removing contaminants and the chlorine odor from my water. These branded filters are pricey and I never seem to get a full 6 month use out of them.

Previous filter lasted 4 months. Under the claim of 6 months. This last one started a decreasing flow on week 2. Changed water inlet valve no positive result. Verified hoses all checked ok. Filter is the problem. Quality has disappeared but not the high price. We are talking a Whirlpool brand. Can't find a replacement.
