Everydrop Refrigerator Water Filter 3 EDR3RXD1

First of all this is a 2 Pack! That wasn't clear in the product listing. Previous to this one I bought an off-brand from another major retailer site (guess which one). It had great reviews and was several dollars cheaper. Not even half way through the life of the filter water started tasting terrible. This filter is endorsed by KitchenAid. Water seems to be filtered perfectly and it has a long life.

Great deal! Saved myself a lot of money and at the same time I ended up with the best possible product (by PUR). I had been using generic brands to filter my fridge water for the same price, and there is a DISTINCT difference between using generic and PUR. Would recommend this deal to anyone! Water quality is GREAT.

My refrigerator has a filter installed. When a filter was needed it meant a trip to a big box store. Sometimes they had them, other times not. Now, I get one delivered to the house. You can't beat the convenience. I was also surprised at how close the filter delivery and the replace indicator came on.

The water filter is needed, as I like to drink filtered water. This product seems to work well and last a good amount of time. But it does not include directions for how to install it. The assumption is that one knows how to do it, but even if I remembered, it would still be not just helpful, but essential to have the instructions again, on the new product.

I waited 2 months to write this review because our refrigerator water filter didn't need replacing until this month. Anyway, I gave it 5 stars because it fit perfectly. Our last one was purchased at Home Depot and it leaked (: we will buy from Wal-Mart again.

Having a deep well water source, I am assured of clear, safe drinking water free of particulates, iron, lime, microspores and cysts often found in well water. So glad my refrigerator has filtering. I like the option of auto-ship based on the number of people in the household with a discount too.

I started reading into water quality and testing.....and after my second gallon of water from this filter, my TDS meter is reading 287 ppm....It's a bit lower than our "city water" but not by much.....vs. the Primo water machine at my local store, which clocks in at ~9 ppm total dissolved solids....I know it's kind of comparing apples to oranges, reverse osmosis filtration vs. carbon filtration.....the filter is better than nothing.....just don't notive that significant of a change vs. regular tap water..... Price can't be beat @ Walmart though!

Tried multiple times to install filter, bleeding the line to no success. The filter never stopped leaking. In the process of installing the filter the cap broke so I turned the water supply off and gave up. Very disappointed. This is the 10th or so filter replacement and by far the most problematic.
