Expert Gardener Metal Female Hose Mender

This hose mender is easy to use. I am old and have weak hands, but was still able to get it inserted in the hose almost all the way in. Works great - way to save money by not having to buy a whole new hose.

wife purchased one in the store and she was able to easily use to attach and repair the hose...but she need the male end. She didn't know the difference. We will replace but keep this one as a spare.

It took strength to apply this to the hose. If you lack hand strength then I recommend purchasing the plastic hose repair fitting that's much easier to install.

I say no to recommendation for the flimsy small hose clamp. It did not tighten good being jus when you think its tight it pops its grip an will not stay tight. I say to make this work go on an plan to buy a wider/stronger clamp to properly make repair.

I bought last years model 2019 it was great plastic but works amazing I bought this years model 2020 medal .... I wish I could post the video because it shows exactly what this piece of crap does verses last years model.. it’s not good and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone unless they want a cold shower from a garden hose

Leaked like crazy, did not work at all. Should not be sold.

I had high hopes for a successful repair because of the good reviews. I took my time with installing this, but it leaked when I turned the water on. Tightening does not help. I may redo it and add Teflon tape around the repair fitting. Also considering buying a plastic repair fitting instead of metal. Suggestions welcome.
